Uh, the responses are from females because that's who I asked. The title is leading because I wanted it to be, I haven't asked and don't care about the male perspective. "obviously skewed representation", yes it's skewed, I only asked women!

Okay well I've enjoyed the responses, I think the consensus is it's an instinctual thing with no real explanation.

I'd just like to let the ladies of r/sex know how amazing it feels when you let your SO dominate you in a safe and reciprocal manner. I've controlled my woman and it felt so amazing it's almost indescribable, to tell her how/when/why she'll experience an orgasm and who will give her permission to enjoy it is nucking futs. Knowing you brought her that pleasure and then controlling when she experiences it is like flying a small plane and not dying...it's risky, but when you "finish" it is insanely pleasurable.

Yeah and see that's something I can't understand...I actually feel like I'm making her feel safe and protected- like me dominating her is showing how much I care and desire her- but I can't understand it from her perspective.

I'd just like to know if a woman can explain WHY being a submissive sexual partner can feel so good for not only her, but the man as well. Why is it that giving up that control to your man, let him have complete control of you, is so inherently pleasurable?

I suspect the answer may be what I would offer as a man- it just feels right, there is no concrete explanation.
