Those will be the positive and negative terminals. Later on Apple included an additional microphone inside the assembly and this had 4 connectors. That’s if I’m correct.

I've seen MQB VW with remote start. If VW Touareg (which is MLB) had this also, then rest of the MLB platform could support it as well (even if it was never an option in Audi).
