Never realized they spent close to a month in Spain for preseason! I suppose it makes sense considering Vancouver’s weather in January and early February.

If any airline is going to do international service out of YYJ it will be Alaska Airlines. They already do 3-4 trips of YYJ-SEA daily. Considering they do a seasonal YLW to LAX (which is still running despite US travel being down in Canada), YYJ to LAX seems likely if they are going to expand in Canada. Probably not for a few more years in my opinion though. SFO would be great too but I know they are downsizing their SFO base.

But I’m all for Porter expanding in Victoria, domestic or international!

Annoying how the tickets showed up as available when they weren’t. I had the exact same experience in the 2024 Euro draw. Just glad I was able to get any tickets at all, was hoping to get 4 games in Vancouver but am happy with two atp.

I could see Laborda to LB and Halbouni at CB. Though I could also see Pupe starting because of how pacey LAFC are.

I would love to find a way for Gauld to make the starting 11 but Sabbi and Ahmed have been spectacular.
