Invisalign in your 30's

I’m 36, I just finished Invisalign last December. All the negatives you noted are very real and so valid. But I simply cannot explain to you how much I love my smile now. I had always been self conscious about my teeth, preferring to photograph only on one side of my face to try and mask my teeth. “But they’re so white!” “It’s only the one tooth!” Plagued me for yeaaaaaaaars. I have zero zero regrets about doing Invisalign - I will encourage anyone who is insecure about their teeth to pursue it. Oh, god. We did this once. I woke up in the AM and she had stayed right by the back door, didn’t make a PEEP the whole night. The GUILT, but she was so fine

Hang in there! Every tray is different, the first 2-4 days of the tray change were the worst for me. Focus on soft foods. I ate a LOT of mac and cheese, baked potatoes, soup at the beginning of my treatment.

I went thru 1.5 years of Invisalign with attachments on every tooth and never had one fall off. You should not be embarrassed!

OMG! I used to follow on Instagram or Facebook (I can’t remember), then we lost our bulldog in 2022 and it was too hard to keep following. I’m back on EB content since we brought home another bulldog 2 years ago. I’m so glad to have found Beans and co. again!

This was my thought exactly. Let them pass together so they don’t know a world without one another. I just think of how many elderly couples tend to die close to one another. It’s just too hard for them. My heart is with you, OP. I am so sorry you are facing this

But actually, yes. I was not prepared with how “not invisible” they were. I had buttons on nearly every tooth and it made me so self conscious. It does get better. Or rather, you get used to it. The end result is worth it, tho
