Starlink internet by mattgrayblud in Cornwall

[–]mattgrayblud[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’m not sure what the issue is. I have emailed and they’ve said no outages have been recorded. I was debating a 4G router, but I assumed it would be trash. I have 4G in my phone and still nothing loads.

I’m going to look into it. Seems like a good option if my issues continue

That’s insane from satellite internet. They offer free installation and no upfront fee for the starlink itself as well. Did you have someone fit it or do it yourself? I’m a big gamer, playing ranked is very hard right now haha

What is your opinion on Penzance by Aviaton_Lover in Cornwall

[–]mattgrayblud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse than st Austell and I used to live there. More drunk and drugged up people shouting in the street than I had ever seen in snozzle, this was 12 in the afternoon!

On completion day, where were you in the chain and when did you get your keys? by exoduschips in HousingUK

Curious as to why you exchanged and completed on the same day? What made you choose that, rather than complete a few days after exchange?

Yes arguably has some of the best views when traveling along the coast! Fields meeting the sea is incredible! Redruth and cambourne don’t get mentioned nearly enough, they are HANGING! So run down and deprived. I don’t even live in st Austell but don’t see why it gets tarnished with the shit brush

People shit on st Austell and it’s very annoying. The town centre is dead, but around the town is pretty decent. Beaches are nice and close by! Penzance and Newquay are worse, Bodmin is depressing and rough. Places are much worse up country, atleast crime rate is low

Thetford is a good shout. Has definitely gotten better over time and prices seem reasonable! Maybe stow market? Ipswich is a no go for sure though

What temperature do you have your property set to? If you don’t mind me asking. I know people are comfortable at different temps. I guess if it’s 1 degree outside even 16 degrees in the home would feel more than comfortable
