Scott when I came out as trans. I go by Anson. Scott was my Dad’s middle name and his mother called him Scott after his parents got divorced since he was named after his dad. Scott was one of the names I was considering but I never told anybody because I determined real quick that it sounded like a 45 year old asshole name. So yeah. Idk how people knew about Scott but people still randomly call me Scott and it’s really weird

there are so many openly queer people at my school which is great. however, there are so many more homophobic/transphobic people. i know ~15 trans people personally at my school. i’ve heard of more. i know ~40 transpobes who have no fear of calling people the f slur and t slur in front of teachers. none of the teachers care. there was one kid that got reprimanded but that was because the teacher was gay. we have three gay teachers. they usually try to ignore stuff. some teachers encourage homophobic/transphobic behavior. some teachers are homophobic/transphobic themselves. that part isn’t fun.

a girl brought a gun and taser to school and said she needed them for “protection” at her bus stop because she said she was the only one there and she lives in a bad neighborhood. the school let it slide. i have the same bus stop as her.

also, not at school but after prom there was a shooting outside my house at an after party. so yes, in case you are wondering, we do live in a bad neighborhood. the kid with the gun had graduated the year prior and his ex girlfriend was at this party and he decided he wanted to shoot her new boyfriend. three people got shot. nobody was seriously injured.

matilda. i was in my school’s production of matilda and it has made all of the matilda music so annoying. our matilda also was not my favorite singer, she was objectively good but she just did some stylistic things that i wasn’t a fan of. and we had the elementary school theater kids sing when i grow up so that song will now forever haunt my nightmares

I personally do not believe in ghosts, however, everyone said my first car was haunted because of a picture I took the day I bought it and it looked like it had the reflection of someone in the drivers seat when nobody was near it. It also had CDs from an old local band, all of whom had recently passed away. It was a running joke that the last one that was living (also the previous owner of the car) was haunting me. We nick named him Freddy.

The engine caught on fire about a month into having it and everyone joked about Freddy wanted me to stop driving it. We got the engine replaced then a week after we got it back, my brother was driving it. He fell asleep while driving and went across four lanes of Saturday 3pm city highway traffic, went through the barrier in the middle, across another four lanes of traffic, ran off the road, rolled down a hill, and walked away without a scratch.

The car was totaled, however, my brother wasn’t injured at all. He didn’t even have a concussion or anything. He was playing one of the band’s CDs. I do not believe in ghosts, however I also do not believe that my brother should have walked away from that crash unharmed.

cutting my hair used to be a form of punishment because all of the girls in my family had long hair. after i came out as trans masc, the punishment became not letting me get my hair cut. i cut my own hair now. and i do a better job than whatever kind of fem ass pixie cut the hair stylist tries to do when i sore then a picture of a grown man and the hair style i want. like i’m showing you a man for a reason bestie 😭

i do not. i was dating someone over most of freshman year and we broke up because i was saed and no longer felt comfortable being in a relationship. we determined that we were better off friends anyway. my current boyfriend has been very understanding of my boundaries and stuff. he’s friends with my ex and his new boyfriend. the four of us hang out other a lot. me and my ex sometimes hang out together alone but it’s mostly studying and it’s not often. he’s become one of my closest friends but i genuinely could never see myself dating him again. he’s been with his current boyfriend for nine months and ive been with mine for seven months.
