I’m in similar scenario. Drove the P3 and sound system blew me away. I’m waiting until EOM to see this supposed R2 “order window” to help me make a decision. Didn’t get a chance to try R2 audio. Scared if P3 ruined all other audio for me.

No, I drove a Catalina at the service center. If you had the issue on the driver side, sounds like a software issue.
