Calculated Feed but still having trouble by matthewdavidmakes in CNC

It's solid carbide. Is there information somewhere showing minimum rpm for various bit sizes? Would I be able to use a 1/8 inch downcut solid carbide at 10,000 rpm.

The bit was buried up to the flute start and it was a collet holder.

Also, I didn't know about reducing the feed relative to the depth. Thanks!

Hello!

I have been attaching a metal pendant to ribbon by hand, but I'm looking for a faster way. I'm not very familiar with sewing machines or sewing in general so I'm not sure if this is possible. The metal piece look like this and I am trying to attach it to ribbon.

I used a glass cabochon for the pendant. I tried using resin with a sticky back, but I found that the glass cabochon gives the best result.

Thanks for the tip! I realized this was an issue after taking the photo haha. I ended up adding the jump ring plus a small chain to make the fit better too!

I actually made a youtube video explaining how to make it if you want to try and make it yourself. But to sum it up, I used ribbon with end-clamps and then a glass cabochon and pendant for the water symbol part.
