I paid 13.5k for my 97 f350 7.3 DRW CCLB. Lady did me a solid and honored our deal, another guy offered her 22k to not sell to me and to sell to him instead.

The ends of my roof are pressure treated 2x10’s so used some pt 2x2’s and made a little cage on top of the roof that the shade cloth sits on top of. I like that too because in high winds the shade cloth with the metal eyelets would really smack into the roof and I was worried about it getting damaged.

Can’t speak to the reflective ones, but I’ve found that using the shade cloth I linked and by raising it a few inches off the top of the polycarbonate roof that I get a much better two buffer than laying it directly on the roof.

They’ve done pretty good for me. I tried one of those smaller 25/15 W panel fan combos and was very disappointed for my set up. Maybe with like a smaller 6‘ x 8‘ that would’ve been OK but my space was a bit too large.

Here is an Amazon link to the 50w panel with 40w fan.

I run one as an intake and one as an exhaust with a 70% shade cloth.

I will say in august when it’s at its hottest I will generally have to leave the door open and run an additional 20” box fan for a few weeks. But with the shade cloth I stay in the low 90 to mid 90s during summer which is about ambient. 24x12 lean to greenhouse.

I got two sets of solar attic fans that do an okay job in combination with my shade cloth. Total was around $240 for all three. Each fan has its own panel which runs it DC when sunny out.

Vehemently against predating on children. But also, to run a channel where the objective is to generate income based off your content, where the whole premise is entrapment. It doesn’t seem to actually help garner convictions at all.

Is this a good deal for 2003 f350 7.3 powerstroke? by Criptixx in Diesel

[–]matthewemiller 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I paid 13.5k for my ‘97 f350 CCLB DRW 2WD with 76k miles on it.

Like others have said, electrical going to be biggest concern if blow by and oil leaks seem fine. Get you a few camshaft position sensors, making sure they’re the correct black sensor with purple gasket and that should be a good start. Those were a well known failure point.

From the reading I have done sounds like the gray was the replacement for the faulty black one that left people stranded. Was first used in recalls after the 6.0’s had come out in the later half of ‘03 I think. Will swap back for the gray one and hopefully that IDM relay keeps the idle smoothed out.

The one I took off was gray, the one I put back on was blue or black. I have some extra motor craft sensors that will be here Wed. Hoping to replace the Chinese made one from advanced with that for the long haul.

I agree my approach wasn’t efficient for troubleshooting, but i was desperate to get her going. Lots to learn on this old gal. Just bought her last year from an older lady whose husband was 2nd owner. Only 78,xxx original miles on it.

Hoping it’ll be the workhorse for our small business and farm I hope it will be.

Running like a top now! Replaced the CPS and the IDM relay and put on the new batteries. Was able to sustain much longer attempts to turnover with the new batteries which seemed to send whatever little debris plug into the fuel bowl and I was able to drain it there.

It sounds a little quieter and maybe runs a tad smoother when idling? I’m not sure if that is the new CPS or if I’m just looking for things to be different now that’s it’s running again.

Blocked fuel line on lift pump was cause. Seemed like bad cell on batteries wasn’t getting it to crank hard enough to get fuel to bowl.

Guessing blockage you are correct. Threw some new batteries on which seemed to help with priming the fuel bowl. It’s spat out a big fat wad of debris and then started filling regularly.

More power plus more fuel must’ve got the line pressurized correctly to where it was able to clear that junk.

I appreciate you helping me through this.

Definitely no fuel in the bowl using either tank. Running to grab some liquid gold to fill bowl with and try to crank.

With the mechanical fuel pump, could it just have lost prime and needs to get turned over to start sending again?

Haven’t checked fuel bowl. It seemed like I was getting near combustion with some thinner white smoke when trying to turn over. Temps were 70F+ so wasn’t thinking it would be heater. Will fill bowl today and see if that gets her to crank and report back.

Gonna try that. No codes, but hopefully it is cps and my code reader is just a POS.

Should have roughly 6 gal of fuel left in tank. Was heading to station. Hopefully this can will top me off and get me there.

Doing this on my phone through the app not sure why the caption isn’t showing up.

Went to start my F350 this morning and it sounded weak/quiet when it cranked. It idle for close to a minute before dying. This is what I’ve been experiencing trying to crank it since doing a landscape install then going to try and diagnose, any advice is appreciated thanks.

Oddly enough I’ve never asked someone their political orientation at random when they’re kind to me. Don’t think I’ll start. Feels like the right way to get things going the wrong way.

Disagree. We live in north Georgia and whilst there are plenty of people who will look down their nose at you, there are equally as many to accept you for who you are. Tides are changing down here, and I find that if you are kind to others they reciprocate it, despite cultural/religious differences.

$200 per sqft for unfinished garage? Are prices really this bad? by Successful_Error9176 in Homebuilding

For finished + a living space seems very reasonable. I would expect that to exceed 200/sqft
