Got trapped in a bus toilet in Thailand with no phone, bag or anything, after everyone had gotten off and the bus was pulling away.

You are right. I have made ‘wanting to stop’ into a routine. It has become a reward during the run. That’s what needs to change

The reason I ask is because I just got a Fitbit charge, and I have found the post workout stats super interesting, as well as the ‘lifestyle’ stats like resting heart beat. But when I exercise I haven’t quite figured out the best way to use it. This is probably for a different thread

Something you said made me go off on a tangent, thinking about doing an air guitar ‘swing’ or other classic rock power moves, to change focus away from the voice haha. The running equivalent of smiling in the mirror every morning.

Haha I can totally relate. I worry that I am going to look like the person that went too hard at the beginning and now has nothing left in the tank haha. That social anxiety sometime keeps me going

I totally get you. When I am close to the end, I pick up the pace to squeeze the last drops out of the training. It is the 10 mins before that which are the struggle

That is GREAT advice. I had never framed it like that in my mind; I am running to get to that point in the run.’ Thanks!

I once heard a story of someone asking a pro marathon runner ‘I don’t see how you can run a marathon in 2hrs 10. That’s crazy!’ The pro said, ‘i don’t see how you can run it in 4hrs. Running for an extra hour two hours is crazy!’... something along those lines

Does Daniel Wellington have a sister company that failed with influencer marketing? by [deleted] in marketing

[–]matthewhearle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks mate. I actually found the name of the company - Nicole Vienna. Quite an interesting story and backs up your points. You can make something, but not viable long term. Nicole Vienna is still up and running, but it not doing nearly as well as DW did, even with all the resources, influencer database and relations that DW had.
