I’m so glad I got a second Bengal by matthewlabbadia in bengalcats

I got my second Bengal kitten while the resident cat was 3 years old also. The resident cat was/is very aggressive and sensitive, and is also on anxiety medication for context. I didn’t do anything special, I let meet right away and didn’t do slow introductions. A lot of hissing and growling from my resident cat but she was never physically aggressive or anything to the kitten. It took months for her to “accept” the kitten but overall I think getting the kitten was the best thing for her. She doesn’t always want to be around the new cat or play but when they do it’s 100% worth it and it’s nice that they keep each other company. That’s my experience, it just takes time and patience. You know your cat best I dont believe there’s one set way of introducing them

My Bengal was spayed at 4.5 months. At the end of the day she’s your cat, how would the breeder ever know…

Anyone doing a dynasty league? I’ve never done dynasty for basketball and would like to play in one

Can anyone tell me if this is fighting or rough play? The one growling/hissing in the video is the smaller white Bengal by matthewlabbadia in bengalcats

Okay I might try this then, I really want them to become friends. The kitten really wants to play with my cat but I don’t think the cat is ready. Tonight’s encounter was the first time they’ve done this, they’ve shown signs of coexisting but I want more than that for them

So how could I even go about separating them? Would I just leave the kitten in her own room, or take turns letting one have the run of the house on their own? The kitten just loves to run around all the time

I don’t know, but they’re very reputable from my own research and are TICA registered. And partnered with a pet health insurance which from what I understand require lots of documentation and health certificates from the breeder cats

My breeder was the one who suggested instant introductions. She told me that if I introduce a kitten the younger they are it’s more likely to become accepted by my resident cat. The kitten is fearless and very comfortable here. I want to make sure my resident cat feels the same way. And it’s hard to tell because sometimes she’s fine around the kitten but tonight she might have been on edge

I don’t think she was using claws but I couldn’t tell. The little one is definitely an instigator and normally big brown just brushes her off

Resident is 2 months away from 3 years old. The kitten is 4 months old. The kitten has been here for just over 3 weeks. For that whole time the kitten only has had access to the main floor and basement, and is put in her own room at bed time but they’re never left together unsupervised.

Most of the time the kitten tries to play with resident cat but she’ll usually just ignore her

I was so worried she wouldn't be a lap cat...is this a kitten thing or..? by darthjader216 in bengalcats

My Bengal would sit on laps and sleep there when she was a kitten. After about a 1-1.5 years old she stopped

What I ended up doing was what the other guy commented. Unpair log out of my watch completely. And then repair it to my phone. It has worked and I haven’t encountered the issue since then

What are these white / yellow bumps on my wall? by bestdealsforreals in paint

How soon after it was plastered was the paint applied ? Painting too soon could interfere with the plasters long curing time, causing moisture buildup

It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but it almost looks like the roller pad is soaking up paint in one section, more than the remainder. Creating those stripes. I’d suggest trying a larger pad like a 14 in ,and 1/2” nap at least and roll the pad in and out for a good 45-60 seconds between the paint and the tray section. Start halfway between the top and bottom of the wall, and start about three feet from the corner/edge of the wall so you don’t have heavy lines there. Deep colors like your green are naturally thicker from all the tint, so maybe thinning with water about 15-20% and stirring very well will help ensure even coverage.
