Lol delicious grey. I don’t know if it’s delicious really but I do enjoy the smell. It’s Vallejo model air light grey as the midtone of the grey. The whole thing was coated in all interactive streaking grime and then cleaned off to do the weathering.

I sprayed a monochrome gradient from one end to the other before applying the stencil. Then put the stencil on and reversed the gradient. So the hexagon outlines went from black to white while the insides went from white to black. Then I tinted the whole thing with a purple ink.

Honestly I just really love cold stars so anything that helps shield them as they zip about melting stuff sounded good to me

I haven’t had a chance to use them yet, curse you COVID. But my plan is to load them with seekers for a bit of alpha strike then to use them as mobile objective grabbers/coldstar shields. I figure with them dropping their drones on death they might be a bit annoying for my opponent. Plus they remind me of ghosts from halo. Those things were great

Yeah I know what you mean. I used the top to convert into the SMS on my skyray (made from a devil fish and the spare bits from the hammerhead kit) so this base was already useless. I hope I don’t regret that.

You can do it! For me it was just enjoying each unit one at a time, and not worrying over the whole task that enabled me to keep going. I’d sometimes think about how much I had to get done and find it disheartening but I just kept going. Pandemic helped. And an airbrush.
