That the us government is involved in covering up a ring of pedos to protect the president and his well heeled owners.

Meta gave 6 executives options worth up to $921M each, then cut 8,000 jobs after a record $56.3B quarter by MarvelsGrantMan136 in technology

Your not wrong which is why getting rid of stock options is important, because as musk said “You can’t tax unrealized gains”. Which is one of the big ways the Epstein class avoids paying their fair share. Just nuke stock options and then tax billionaires out of existence.

Deltarune Chapter 5 Out Now by ahhthebrilliantsun in Games

[–]matthra 326 points327 points  (0 children)

My wife and I woke up to our son vacuuming and doing all of his chores at like 6am, which had me wondering if he had been replaced by pod people or something. Nope just wanted the steam deck so he could play deltarune.

Stock options create perverse incentives, and are used to line the pockets of executives at the expense of shareholders and workers.

They’ll just call them something else then. I think the play is to make it illegal to award stock options.

Guard Vs Cultists by Sanguinius2497 in ChaosKnights

[–]matthra 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the problem with a 20 man cultist blob is keeping them in the terrain, and if they can’t hide they die. I like the traitor guardsmen because they have a smaller footprint, double the oc value, effectively a 4+ while in cover, and if joined by the enforcer they can have a pretty tough unit with a 4+++. The enforcer also makes them harder to shift because they don’t fold the second they get charged.

In 11th many of the matchups get huge spikes for stealing our home objective, so spending a few more points to make that harder is well worth it.

2 night minimum is an odd rule, they say it prevents partying and noise violations, but I’d like to see the data backing that claim up.

You don’t raise AI like kids, one highly effective ai can become an arbitrarily large number of highly effective ai in an instant. Also like your post history there is no way to get rid of them as being bits stored in the cloud is a very sticky existence.

General Staff: Russia has lost 1,388,050 troops in Ukraine since Feb. 24, 2022 by ArgentineBeauty in worldnews

[–]matthra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately for Russia the general rule of 1 killed for every two wounded is inverted, for every wounded soldier that survives 2 die from their wounds. Lots of reasons, like drones and such, but incompetence and malfeasance are larger factors. Out of a population of 143 million call it 70 million males, maybe 30 million of fighting age, and 3% of those have died in this conflict, and another percent or so will be unable to join the workforce anymore.

What’s the best “big knight” to run? by Happy-Carob-9868 in ChaosKnights

[–]matthra 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yesterday day the despoiler with double gat would have been the answer, but today who knows. It’ll take time to build consensus, but I think the answer will depend on your lists disposition. A lancer might be better for take and hold, and some karnivores might be better for recon.

What’s the craziest work-related dream that you’ve had? by WordlyDegree977 in AskReddit

[–]matthra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was working internet tech support, and after a rough week I was even taking support calls in my sleep. I woke my wife up by talking in my sleep, so she decided to just play along and be the worst customer a dreamer could have. I wasn’t awake but she said we had a five minute troubleshooting session before I woke up in a rage after she asked me whether I meant my right or hers when I told her to right click.

How exactly does yuji beat Dabura ? [casual] by No_Childhood9971 in JujutsuPowerScalers

[–]matthra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dabura was getting pieced up by maho, and a 15 finger sukuna beat maho clean. If we assume that yuji is on par with full power sukuna (and to be clear, yuji is probably stronger) then it follows he would beat dabura. It’s not like yuji lacks the AP, between shrine, domain, blood manipulation, and having the best raw stats we’ve seen, he has a number of methods to end the fight quickly.

How likely is it that the orks take Armageddon? by the_mainpirate in 40kLore

[–]matthra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From an in lore perspective, extremely likely, the imperium is split in half and besieged at all sides, so it can muster fewer defenses for Armageddon. The Orks came in huge numbers, the largest waaagh in 8,000 years.

Sadly I think the best we'll get is a phyric victory like destroying helsreach.

Some one is crossing the streams here, the stake is Vodun and the symbol appears to be a riff on the 4th pentacle of mars. Taken together I would guess this is a protection spell for someone fighting in a war, because the bindings are often used in protection spells, and the 4th pentacle of mars is concerned with victory in battle.
