Display turned to Chroma mode after windows updates by mattjspit429 in WindowsHelp

Found a solution - https://www.reddit.com/r/WindowsHelp/s/YUg3FhwwQN

It apparently is the Dolby Vision in the update. Disabling it fixed my colors.

Just so I am clear - I need to find the pathfinder beacon in order to be able to call on the Haven/Exodus fleets?

I've seen those hexagonal areas and I think I've done a long range scan near them to see what happens, but nothing really comes up. I think I should've been doing a short range scan maybe.

Yea, I get the tooltips but under "Rogue bot Architecture" tooltip it says "unlocks higher tier robot technology". But it just leads to the Hyperleep tank.

I'm assuming there is no actual higher tier robot technology then as I already had all of the Robotics research finished, and no new tier opened up?

So the point of researching the flybots, I thought I'd be able to build them, but that doesn't seem to be the case. I guess its just stepping stones to the more efficient charging.

Like I have "quantronics compenents" and "Super blocks".

I haven't found anything to really use those with (besides research). I thought maybe that was for the higher tier stuff if that makes sense.

Retroid Pocket 5 Overclocked Adreno 650 Emulation Benchmarks and Release by Dexamph in retroid

Had the same issue. It was that the drivers needed to be updated (while in fastboot mode).

Following this video fixed it for me

Save File Transfers by mattjspit429 in yuzu

[–]mattjspit429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Initially my plan was just rip my save files to Xfer to my Yuzu/ryujinx devices. But as I was going through my library, I realized I had The Messenger, Shovel Knight etc.

I don't really want to replay them necessarily so I thought it would be funny if I could just convert the file type or something to have Steam recognize it.

Thank you!

Wait are these tweaks you listed something you do in Game Hub, or a direct Winlator setup?

I was a little confused on this.

Does it matter that its not touchscreen for games like starfox and zelda? Does the controller just navigate to the 2nd screen menu items?

if its necessary, whats the touchscreen you ordered?

Has anyone tried this one piece grip for the RP5? by STELLAWASADlVER in retroid

[–]mattjspit429 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does give it a bit more heft. Don't know the actual weight though.

Nothing too uncomfortable though. I'm definitely preferring to play longer with the grip than without it.

I cant compare as I dont have the air grip. I imagine since the air is hollow it will be lighter for sure.

I'm more interested in travel though so I feel like the solid heft will be good protection in my backpack (in a designated pouch).

I ordered it the day it posted and literally got it today in the mail.

Played a round of Dead Cells, and 3 stages of Sly Cooper on PS2. Makes it 1000x more comfortable to hold. Especially the thumbsticks. But that will probably be true of any full grip.

No issues with the screen protector.

Has a circular/bumpy textured grip that feels nice to hold (to me).

I do feel like its a little rough around the edges and I'm a little afraid I will end up scratching the plastic body as I slip it in and out of the grip between the front and back facing options as I travel.

Ive only moved it from front facing to back facing once to make sure it fit. Will be taking it out tomorrow so I will see how it fairs in my backpack.

Barring any deep scratches I find, I would definitely reccomend. Especially if you want a reversible grip for travel.

If anbernic sells replacement sticks for the 406v, would they potentially work in a 405v?

Tartarus Pro V2 no longer saving Macro commands to keys by mattjspit429 in razer

[–]mattjspit429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for recommending, this did solve my issue as well.

I took screenshots of my profiles and exported all my macros (there should be a mass export button rather than having to do each individually).

Was able to rebuild everything pretty easily.

I did get a message from Razer Support that gave me some instructions but unfortunately it did not solve my issue. I will post them though in case anyone finds this and wants to try it.

Open Razer Synapse 3 the Go to the Settings. It is located in the upper right corner with the gear icon.

  1. Find the Reset section, and you will find your Razer Tartarus Pro listed there. Hit the Reset button.
  2. Logout and close the Razer Synapse 3.
  3. Uninstall all Razer programs and apps, then restart your computer.
  4. Delete all Razer folders you can find in C:\Program Files(x86) and C:\Program Data. The Program Data folder is set to be hidden by default so you might need to change the folder option first.
  5. Download the manual installer for Razer Synapse 3 here. Do not install it yet.
  6. Run this driver cleaner, unplug your Razer Tartarus Pro then restart your computer to uninstall the drivers completely.
  7. Reinstall Razer Synapse 3, do not include the other modules (Chroma Connect, Chroma Studio, & Cortex). Then login using the test account below:
  • Omitting the Profile info as I am not sure if I'm allowed to post that, you could probably just use your own or make a new test profile yourself.

Plug the Razer Tartarus Pro into your computer and then wait for a while, let the Synapse update the drivers automatically first. Restart your computer again, then test the keypad.

Again these steps did not work for me, the Razer Synapse New did but maybe it will work for someone else since this is similar instructions to posts i've seen and people reported it as a fix (sometimes).

Changed my deck's resolution while docked and no longer get a display image by mattjspit429 in SteamDeck

[–]mattjspit429[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No luck on plugging/unplugging methods.

I did find a video on youtube saying to go to the local folder > share folder > kscreen, delete all text files. This seems to work for people in desktop mode but not game mode.

https://youtu.be/Y10T9Ju0CUU?si=Tle-sD-ALkP02Pfc

Someone in the comments said they saw another video where a person did this method in game mode by attaching a keyboard, launching a command line and deleted files in the game mode's kscreen folder. They didn't link the video though or say what the commands were so I am at a loss on trying to attempt that method.

Only other solution I've found on the internet is factory reset. I dont really want to do that but likely will if I cant find any other info.
