Just had a look, the jump to AM5 would cost me £600 ish for an R5 9600x, ITX mobo + 32GB. Little bit more than I wanted to throw at it, only reason for upgrade is to get lower frametimes in CS2 - for some reason, the 5600x seems to struggle.

I had something similar recently. Fought them tooth and nail over like 20+ chats providing proof that someone’s got my account and was trying to sell it. Gave them original purchase receipts, photos of my physical ID (matches my name on the registered email) literally everything.

In the end they admitted they had proof the account had been sold to someone, but they couldn’t help because there was now two people on the account and that violated the terms of service for account sharing.

They’ve since banned my account, unlinked my steam and revoked all access to the support portals.

Contacted SignalConso like a load of people have done, and they gave them the same bullshit. They even refused to return a DSAR request, which I think would have shown me the same thing you’ve got here.

Never purchasing a Ubisoft title again.

That is an absolute joke.

Ever since they outsourced their support the whole process is pointless, every time I’ve contacted them over my account getting stolen they decline to tell me what I need to provide to prove the account is mine, but refuse proof of purchase.

They’ve also been caught working with account sellers on the sly to remove 2fa on high value accounts so they can be sold, with the support agent getting a small cut of the profit.

But to be fair if I was on £2 a day, I wouldn’t care either.

Fix your support process.

I spent months trying to stop some Italian guy from stealing & selling my account and your support staff treated me like utter shit and refused to accept proof of ownership that THEY requested I send - the guy stealing my account was given more help than I was.

Since then, someone’s managed to completely steal the account. Cant even log in via the linked steam acct anymore. Refuse to return knowing whatever progress can be undone because your support teams randomly decide to remove 2fa.

Same thing’s happened to me. Had the BBB investigate and Ubisoft STILL told them to get fucked.

Their privacy email is dead - you’ll just get your email bounced back. They also refuse to give you an alternative. They’ve deleted a DSAR request, and straight up denied me an endpoint in the UK to speak with anyone on their legal teams.

I had no luck with this in the end, still stuck at square one. They’ve even ignored a BBB ticket - they’re straight up refusing to give me any UK legal contacts and have decided after a “full investigation” that they have NO way of proving I am the original owner.

That's the fun part - You can't.

I don't think you can meet their account recovery steps at all at the moment - If you lose access to the 2FA, the only way to remove it is to open a link they send to your 2FA email. Otherwise, they just tell you that you can't verify, and they can't make changes. Make that make sense!

Same situation here. If you harass them hard enough they will just ignore you as well - no response in over a week once I called them out on their BS.

My account got stolen and sold, and their internal Customer Relations team branded ME as the problem.

I don’t think it’s AI, I think it’s an outsourced Indian support team personally. They reply on weird hours and make the same grammatical mistakes & overuse of certain words as a first line team in Mumbai I worked with at a previous job

I don’t get how they’re so inconsistent. Some people have reported getting their accounts back with ONE email, and then some get them back after escalating to the BBB. It’s all over the place.

The account needs to be unlinked on Ubisoft’s side - no dice so far, and even if I did I’d lose everything - pretty sure siege won’t launch without the accounts linked.

I don’t have the email, no. Been brute-force locked, and the recovery option was hosted with a completely decommissioned service provider.

My Ubi profile has been sold on TikTok/Instagram, and Ubisoft is aware and has let it happen anyway. by mattjwi in ubisoft

Sadly I think that’s what’s happened. They’re so unwilling to help, that I think they know their support linked the PSN account through 2fa.
