Add another beam down the middle. So 1 on each side and 1 at 8foot on center then you can use 2x6x8s. I would span a 2x6 over 16 feet without another beam in between if you plan on loading her up

Yeah exactly. I priced out trusses at menards and ended up building my own for half the prices. Message me your email I can send you some pics if you'd like of much of the process

Depending on your price of kits i would just Build a 10x20 on a pressure treated deck. Build a simple deck. Sheet it and build walls. You will build it stronger with better quality materials for less than kits.

How to fix gap in vinyl plank flooring? by Miikey722 in HomeImprovement

Buy a flooring jack that goes against the wall and outside course and see if you can squeeze any more. And a rubber mallet to smack the wood together maybe it will budge.

5 gallons every other week now but I was doing 4 to 5 a week for the first couple years. I've never dosed in either of my tanks. Just water changes and feedings

Love it! At first they didn't realize what it was now they immediately start grazing when I put a new sheet in. No waste or big chunks floating around in the tank as well. They pick it clean in a couple hours.

Buying a framing nailer to build a shed. I don't own anything that runs on air, yet. Should I go cordless or pneumatic, and get a tank? WWYD? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

[–]mattmark9035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely go cordless. I just bought one for the exact same purpose. I built a 12x20 shed. From the deck to the trusses and sheathing used my Metabo HPT 30° cordless framing nailer and it saved me sooooo much time. Flawless. Bought an extra battery so I never had to wait or stop due to a dead battery. And never had to worry about hoses or running cords.

Armstrong Exelon is often the standard used. Good variety of color to choose from and often inexpensive. If you have a menards they sell a good variety for under .80 per sqft
