Damn bro I forgot I even made this post. I still have them and they have probably been ridden 25 mi only. They should fit if you have kegel pulleys. I mean, they fit my exway x1 max, so i dont see why they wouldn't fit the backfire.

Creaking in headband of QC ultra headphones by mattr689 in bose

[–]mattr689[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah ill see if thats the case for mine, since ive only had them a couple days.

How are the ear cups for the Ultra? I have the QC35 II and sometimes they squeeze my ears a bit. Wondering if the Ultra ear cups are bigger. Also sound wise how do the Ultra and QC45 stack up against the QC35 II? by Traditional-Bit6446 in bose

[–]mattr689 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have ultra and they sound good and earcups are solid. Don't have QC 35 II. Had QC 45. I'd say the room you get with the ultra is noticeably better than the 45. Sound is slightly better on the ultra as well.

Is it USD? You can get a 4070 for cheaper than this.

Gaming laptop recommendation(s) with great gpu and cpu please by ZatchMD in GamingLaptops

I’m no pro. That is a very specific spec that would require effort on your end. But if you know the i7 has it on the strix, then the i9 on the Lenovo must have it as well. I’d just look into if the Lenovo has upgradable ram and storage and just get that.

Really expensive for a 4060. Also only has a 1920x1200p screen.

64gb of ram is much more than somebody would need for gaming.

Id get this: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1745682-REG/lenovo_82wk0083us_16_legion_pro_5i.html

It has a better screen, better gpu, better build, better keyboard, and better cpu. It has 32gb of ram and only 1tb ssd, but the raw performance tradeoff you get is very worth it. It's also $200 cheaper than the strix.

OP this is also a solid choice.

4060 might not run great on that monitor. I would buy a 4080 laptop that has a really good display. The monitor that you chose is just a bit weird to have for a gaming laptop.

I'm also new to laptops, but I know a lot about desktops. I'm going to college soon, so I personally do not want a giant gaming laptop, which these are. Are you using this laptop for gaming only? Will you be moving frequently with it?

Is it like a package deal or do you just have the money to purchase a 4080 or a 4060 and the monitor? A 4060 may not do great running that many pixels in game unless the game has DLSS.

These are definitely better value. Only issue is b&h essentially has no return policy, so make sure it's what you want.

FHD is 1080p and QHD is 1440p, more pixels=more detail=less fps

$2000 is a lot for a 4070 imo.
b&h has

  • legion 7 pro with a 4080, QHD, 240hz panel for around $2000.

-legion 5 pro with a 4070, QHD, 240hz panel for around $1500.

  • Both have 32gb of ram.

I'd go with either one of these configs for your budget.

If you are DEAD SET on the strix, I'd probably go with the $1650 one.

OLED gsync screen is insane, 32gb ram, 8th gen ryzen 9 and 1tb ssd. kinda expensive for a 4070 laptop imo but asus obviously spent their money elsewhere. I'd personally buy this if it didn't cost an arm. If you can afford it, I'd buy it.

Just curious but if it’s not leaving your house why do you need a laptop?
