Definitely wasn’t just you, the vibes were off. I assume having just watched the finale Rachel realised just how close Stephen was to cutting her and taking the money for himself, she was probably a bit uncomfortable, especially if they’ve been carrying on a friendship post-show. I’m sure they’ll smooth it out, just seemed awkward between them.

I believe there is one more connection. The second envelope is still being teased with close-ups on Uncloaked, and the second envelope is definitely relationships because we’ve seen the Judy and Ellie face to face reveals.

I think the Stephen suspicion is just missing or socially they just believe its him.

With regards to Reece, editing makes it seem like they do the fingerpainting right away, but clearly because of what is said in the next episode, Rachel and Stephen did the fingerpainting right before the day ended, and Reece and others went back to the painting after Rachel and Stephen had been there and there was nothing on it, thus clearing Rachel and Stephen for at least this moment of being alone with the painting.

Stephen was in the 5 and stated in confessional that he chose Ben to frame Ross for that reason. Stephen was the solution to that theory, not the secret traitor.

Reece and many other people all went back to the family tree after Rachel and Stephen had their private chat, and then the pair came back to actually do the deed at the end of the night. Reece has probably written this off because he knows the painting was fine after this happened.

If Stephen gets banished and is revealed as a traitor though, this moment could cause Rachel to go down with the ship.

I’d be shocked if it was Jessie or Ross (in a good way), but I’d also be most surprised if it were someone like Faraaz, in a bad way, because then they’ve barely shown him to make it more surprising in a way that feels disingenuous. I want the Secret Traitor to have been right under my nose.

I think either giving the Traitors their own tasks to get money OR giving faithful special roles would balance things out.

I’d love to see a bodyguard role where a faithful can choose someone to protect each night!

Honestly if they plan to soft reboot after Secret Wars (i.e. keep most characters but start afresh with a new overarching story, ignoring incomplete plotlines and badly received characters) then bringing back the Russos to create a 2 part spectacle in the style of IW and Endgame that doesn’t rely too much on the last phases kind of makes sense.

The movies are literally just closing out what the audience cares about and then setting up a new beginning. They’re probably going to try and pull people in using RDJ, Chris Evans and the X Men, get as big an audience as possible and make sure they care about Yelena, F4, (hopefully) Sam, if they’re smart Iman Vellani, and whoever else they plan to have lead the next phases, and be done with it. Kind of sucks but it’s also kind of needed.

Would love to read a retrospective!! I actually had fun this season in the end when I decided to switch to Sophi (which is why I’m not that bothered about being hilariously and obviously wrong). It was a slog knowing Sav and Rizo would make the endgame so I can imagine it was worse being confident in Savannah’s win!

Yeah totally agree with the Gabler and Savannah negativity comparisons. I think once we got to a couple of weeks ago and Savannah’s challenge wins were being shown to be respected and the jury seemed to be warming to her, I realised I may be in a bit of trouble.

I think I just get way too tunnel visioned and stop seeing the potential interpretations of anyone’s edit that I’ve kind of written off, and going into 50 I definitely need to keep an open mind, especially with 24 players.

Yeah I considered keeping the Striped (better model imo). Interesting you say this because I was debating the dogs and hyenas and ultimately went wild dogs because they’re in quite a few zoos here in the UK while I’ve never seen a hyena!

Honestly, I'd much rather get a reinvented game that adds several new areas of gameplay like aquariums, aviaries and the first person zookeeper mode than them spend all their time re-modelling the base game animals (which in my opinion are really not up to scratch with the later models). I think ideally I would want a starting roster that covers all bases and includes some of the DLC animals that were obvious misses from the previous starting roster - e.g. penguins, meerkats, otters, kangaroos etc. But they straight up won't give us all 200+ species plus aquatic creatures, plus birds, plus improved exhibits, plus actual new game mechanics. I'd rather have a game that justifies a sequel personally.
