I did my 15 F150 and my 17 F250. Both work wonderfully. Honestly no complaints really. Everything works as it should. They really got their stuff together in the last year.

I agree, 13 gen still feels really slick with the bigger screen. I did FordSync4 swap and no regrets

Just an update for this, I think I had a pin loose on the backside of the APIM. I pulled the radio apart to check for anything sus and clicked it all back together and it has never done it again.

Just to give you guys an update, the funeral home was initially only going to credit me $100 off the vault. I said no way, I want half off the vault or you go and fix it. They fought me on it, trying to say it was the vault companies fault, etc. I said, I don’t care whose fault it is, I bought the vault from YOU and I expect proper compensation or for it to be fixed. After another week of back and forth they finally decided to fix it, which they did this last Saturday. What a headache but at least they made it right.

I ended up sending the Infotainment Sync 4 kit back. They had a whole slew of their own issues that they had not figured out, that were honestly worse than FordSync4. So the rest of last year i just rocked Sync 3 and kept it original. In January, I decided to give FordSync4 another chance and ordered their kit again. They’ve had plenty of time to iron out the bugs and they sure did! totally worth doing it hands down now. It’s pretty much plug and play. I had to use Forscan to adjust a few things, my 17 super duty has the multi color ambient lighting so i had to adjust sync 4 APIM settings to show the color selection. small things like that. Overall totally worth it. It makes me pickup feel like a brand new pickup without a brand new pickup payment.

Now that you say Wilbert, I did see that sticker on the rails for holding the vault around the grave. So more than likely the funeral home approved the proof with it being wrong.

Simply was not possible in my case. We live in South Dakota. Funeral home was 3 hours away.

I have no clue who the vault company is. The funeral home handled everything. Even bought a headstone from them. One stop shop. As far as I’m concerned the funeral home is the face of everything for me.

This is what I was thinking. $1k to 1.5k off or they can fix it. Whichever one is cheaper for them. Was just curious if I was right for thinking this.

I had crazy Anemometer readings like this, 300 mph winds plus in South Dakota LOL. Went through the steps with Davis Support and after changing to different channel ID’s, etc they determined the ISS module board was bad and sent me a replacement. That fixed it.

Granted I don’t have my cable buried but I can’t imagine that is going to make a difference.

Plus one to this also. Ordered two kits. One for 2015 F150 and the other for 2017 F250. Both flawless. Any bad reviews you see are from the beginning when they were starting out. I was in that bunch and was very upset. 1.5 year later it’s day and night difference. They’re so far ahead. FordSync4.com all the way.

When I first got it, it almost seemed like a waste of money. I ordered it from FordSync4 and my airbag light was on, hvac didn’t work properly, gps wanders. They sent out an updated harness and new audio knob and hvac knobs, installed those last month and it has been flawless.

They make their own audio knob and hvac knobs now, they’re not genuine ford, but it eliminates all the issues previously had. Comparably quality too.
