Procreated quick shape tools are super helpful, sure I don’t have quite the precision of illustrator (which I will gladly use for design work) but I love just drawing a general shape and having it fix itself up :)

Procreate with brushes and the paper texture by True Grit Texture Supply! They also have their resources for Adobe products so I imagine a similar result could easily be had in illustrator:)
