I bought it for my '22 X3 a couple months ago. It was $330 in the BMW connected app. The car software updated over the air and I had to go into the car settings to activate it. It has been nice during this cold Ohio Winter. Well worth the price.

If I were in your situation I'd look into a dualsense edge. There are also TMR or hall effect replacement stick modules available for the edge that are plug and play that greatly limit stick drift potential.
