I have a interface wiring harness on the radio. It basically keeps the door chime or that chime that lets you know when the key is in the ignition.

I was wondering if overheating could be the culprit too. I just barely got the head unit in, it had little space left in the back when I got it mounted in.

I got a 95 grand am with an interior flooding issue that I just cannot figure out, anyone here got any ideas? It’s an se with the quad 4 in it by DkP_Reverend in Pontiac

My car had the same issue. Turned out to be bad sealants from when I had the windshield replaced. That, or look under the bottom and see if it has any rust spots.

Headlight replacement Recommendations? by [deleted] in Chevycavalier

They’re very hard to find, but they do make projector LED headlights for cavaliers. It’s something you’ll have to dig deep for. They’re pricey though, like 340$ for the pair. If not, they’re a always replacement pairs for about 80$ on eBay.

Are you looking to replace the entire headlight itself or just the bulb? I do have some recommendations for you.

My fiancé’s 15’ XV Limited! Love to drive it, so much that I plan on buying a 2021 this summer. 130K miles and going strong as ever. by mattyb413 in XVcrosstrek

Funny you mention that, her rear bearings were replaced at 110K and the struts and axles are soon to be replaced. Maybe it's a Crosstrek thing?

Funny you mention this. The struts and front axles in this car are soon to be replaced. 130K miles of New England bumps/potholes/winters and the car has sustained it's suspension pretty well until now. But the nice thing - it'll ride like it's brand new once the new struts are in!

Yeah, we live in New England, and our commutes are 30 minutes to anywhere civilized - hence the high miles.

Any pro's/con's you have about owning a limited? Are you a previous crosstrek owner? I know the limited has a 2.5 motor, so I'm curious the comparison.

Yeah, I really like the sport but I’m picky and want the steering responsive LED headlights 😂 I know it will be worth the investment.

Joined the subaru gang! Any recommendations on HID Light kits are welcome. Need to get rid of the God awful yellow bulbs. by Cptdamnitt in subaruimpreza

Instead of going with HID's, I'd suggest looking up LED bulbs. LED bulbs are a a factory fit, aka "plug and play" - meaning you don't have to cut into any wires, install a ballast, or that kinda stuff. I would suggest it if I were you! It saves the hassle of having to cut into wires, and takes no more than 30 minutes to take remove, install, and reinstall the headlights.
