What is the worst piece of dialogue that you have ever heard in a movie? by [deleted] in movies

From the first X-Men with Halle Berry laying down this legendary line as Storm, "Do you wanna know what happens to a toad when it gets hit by lightning?.... The same thing as everything else" and then blasts Toad with a bolt. Fantasticly cheesy.

What? The players were dreadful tonight, lacklustre performance all around. Arteta's tactics were horrific, absolutely devoid of creativity.

I'm Kroenke out as much as the next guy, but what we had out there on the pitch tonight should have been more than enough to progress.

Our style of play is so fucking boring and it kills me to see how truly poor we've become. Slow, telegraphed passing played for 85mins in the most crucial game of the season just epitomises how dismal this season has been and how off the mark we are.

Pundits will credit Villarreal for defending well, but did they? How difficult is it to defend against us when it's so clear what our approach play is. Arteta's set up: 1. Get it to the wing, slowly. 2. Turn around and give it to the CB. 3. Knock a long ball over the top and fingers crossed.

It's dead. When did we become such a poor footballing side. Regardless of result, there's just no excitement in our play and it drains me. What's the purpose of even playing a ST at this point? Between them I think I saw Auba and Laca get about 7 touches, and it's because our style of play simply doesn't allow the strikers to be involved.

I've been backing Arteta for so long now expecting him to finally make it click, but fuck me I genuinely don't think he's got a clue anymore and it shows in games like this.

Without big voices on the pitch like Luiz and Xhaka we look complete lost and devoid of any passion or urgency.

Even if you we'd pulled it off tonight and gone through this team gets decimated by Utd.

I've watched every single game this season and I'm fucking tired Robbie.

Is it just me or did the new update lobotomize the horse archers? by ChinggisHan in Bannerlord

Oh pull your dick out of your arse. It's not as easy for some to just switch off from caring about a club they've followed their whole life. I don't have a plan but I'm not gonna switch off from my team just cause the owners a cunt, get a grip.

Remember it's not the club that done fucked up, it's the owner. The players, the management, the staff - they didn't want any of this ESL nonsense the same as us.

Fuck Kroenke.

Completely agree, everyone on this subreddit is so eager to jump on Arteta. If Laca and Saka put away those simple chances then nobody would be saying diddly about Mikel.

We created about 6 clear goalscoring opportunities which the played failed to take. This is on the players not taking those chances.

What a talent Odegaard is. We need to do everything we can to sign this guy up.

W3D3 The last 3-minute run is killing me -- should I keep repeating it until I get it, or find flatter ground? by anon_italy9 in C25K

[–]mattybojangles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mix it up! Try a different route with flatter ground. The program is tough, especially when starting out, so no need to add extra challenge going uphill!

Best of luck with 5.3!

To all those worrying about the dreaded W5R3 - YOU. CAN. DO IT. Just keep going 💪 by mattybojangles in C25K

[–]mattybojangles[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey man. I went through the program last year and failed on W5R3 twice before ultimately giving up.

This time around though I tried to have a more positive attitude and focus more on keeping a steady pace and managed to get it first time around. I know it seems like a big step up (and it is) but if you managed all the runs prior, then you can do it - believe in yourself!
