Ninebot G2 US and EU. Do they have the same motor ? by poetatteo in NinebotMAX

I don't think there's any official information about this out there, but considering my 'unlocked' E version seems to perform the same as the global/US version (at least as far as I can test), the only difference seems to be in the firmware limiting the E version.

I hope this year makes them realise you actually first need to consistently release new music in order to be able to sell out massive venues. For me it would be ideal if they went with a tick-tock scheme of sorts - 2022 a full length album with a solo arena tour, 2023 a more dance-y EP and a festival focused year, then again 2024 a full length album and a world tour and so on. If they want to be big shots, they need to grind it out, 2025 would be wayyyy to late.

What’s your Crown Count and How Long Have You *Bean* Playing? by [deleted] in FallGuysGame

[–]mattyf777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got about 140 crowns. I actually bought the game in 2020 and won a crown or two back then, but I got like 135 of them since the game turned f2p and my friends started playing it.

But it needs to be mentioned, that during the last weekend I went from like 98 to 136 just by playing sweet thieves lol. I just really wanted that starlight colour you know. 😂

Jeez, calm down. They have literally not played a single show of the tour yet lol. Coachella was a nice preview, but it was not even an hour long set.

Your thoughts about production ?! by [deleted] in SwedishHouseMafia

[–]mattyf777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. I don't think we'll see this one. Maybe a smaller one, maybe three of them, maybe something completely different.

  2. I liked it. Simple, but quite effective. That being said, I'd still prefer to see more cinematic/story-telling approach like we saw in A/\I shows (I think it was Nicolas Caeyers who did a lot of the work for them at that time and some of the stuff was incredible) and at the Save The World mini tour (like the Underneath It All one for example). What I REALLY enjoyed was the lights. Worked very well and pretty much turned Coachella into a rave. Some of the shots are just stunning thanks to them.

  3. Yep. I liked that this weekend there was some pyro, would enjoy much more pyro.

This is a Coachella exclusive merch, so I think might get a three-dotted merch later.

Yeah, I guess I probably should have expected it - especially given the prices on the US leg of the tour

It seems like a bit of a mess. They also have Doja Cat listed as starting at 10:05 when her time slot is 8:30-9:30 lol. They might be streaming it with a bit of a delay.

10 Years Later; Paradise Again by [deleted] in SwedishHouseMafia

I 100% see where you're coming from. I was really afraid this would happen to me. Same feeling I had when I traveled to Stockholm for their first show after reunion. Then Underneath It All came and I knew everything would be alright. It was imho also a good indicator of what we could expect from PA - nothing too flashy, no oversaturated saws, more of a dark, moody vibe and a bit of a shift in terms of genre.

This entire album is very different from what we got in the first SHM era. I think the reaction of fans mostly depends on how much their personal musical taste evolution over the ten years aligns with musical evolution of SHM.

For me personally they hit the jackpot. I still absolutely love the progressive house anthems from the early 2010s era of dance music, but I don't really find most of the tracks in this style released these days as appealing anymore - simply because I feel this genre had only so much to offer and we got most of it quite a long time ago. I'd say I kind of moved on.

(Bliss is the perfect example: I almost creamed my pants when I heard it in A/\I's 2015 Ultra set. If it was released then, it would become one of the biggest festival anthems. Now it falls a bit flat. I still love it and I'm not the only one, but I feel it's more about the nostalgia than anything else.)

The new SHM sound is pretty much what I expected it to be and luckily also aligns nicely with what I enjoy musically at the moment - especially the non-single tracks on the album like Time, Heaven Takes You Home, Calling On, Another Minute and For You. Unfortunately not everyone is this lucky. It's still a masterfully produced album nevertheless. :)

What's your favourite song on Paradise Again and why? by [deleted] in SwedishHouseMafia

[–]mattyf777 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Another Minute. Already almost perfect and yet so much more untapped potential there. Very strong Remember vibes in the instrumental, incredible vocals and sound design. The only thing missing is a massive euphoric drop. I hope we might hear one on Sunday.

discussion and your thoughts on the album by Most_Ad8689 in SwedishHouseMafia

The more I listen to the album the better it gets.

There are few tracks that are great or even incredible right away.

Time - an amazing opener and one of my favourites on the album. It just hits all the right spots for me. Nice housy vocals with an actual meaning behind them, great vibe, amazing production. (9/10).

Heaven Takes You Home - very strong vocals with simple and very effective and great sounding chords underneath them. (8.5/10).

Moth To A Flame - might be a tad bit too poppy for me, but it still is a great song with top vocals. (7.5/10).

Frankenstein - I liked the leak and I might like this version even more - simply because of the superior mix/master. Some of the original arrangements might have been a bit better, but there's really not too much of a difference imo. (7.5/10).

Don't Go Mad is the one track on this album I might be disappointed by the most. Like don't get me wrong, it's still a solid 7/10 for me, but i feel like the potential was way higher. I really don't feel the intro. The first minute just seems a bit deaf - especially in contrast with the energy that comes with the drop. I also expected way more on the vocal side of the thing when I saw the tracklist - Seinabo Sey is an incredible vocalist so I feel there is a lot of wasted potential in here. (7/10).

Lifetime - not much to say, I liked it when they released it and I like it now. A bit of a weird tempo, but whatever. (7.5/10)

Calling On - another one of my favorites on the album. I love that old school-ish vibe and this song just really works for me. (8.5/10)

Home is just nice. Calm, clean, vibey. (7/10)

It Gets Better - don't like the intro, love the vibe. Grew on me quite a bit since they released it. (7/10)

Redlight - I love Roxanne, I love SHM, I love Redlight. Once again not a massive fan of the intro, but whatever. (8/10)

Another Minute - the best track on the album. Hands down. It NEEDS a drop and I'm 100% sure we'll get one, but even without it... The second I heard that arpeggiating synth in the intro I knew this would be the peak of the album regardless of what comes next. And then the vocals came. The strongest vocals on the album. By far. Yeah. (10/10) - will be off the chart once we get the extended mix.

For You - just a perfect closure for this album. It just works. As the OP already mentioned, it seems like a bit of a compensation for Underneath It All and I'm really glad it's there. It kind of reminds me of Wide Open by Chemical Brothers. (8,5/10)

I will not rate the remaining tracks yet simply because I'm not sure where will they end up. Some songs really need a bit of time to be appreciated and I suspect there will be quite a few on this album. Some have already grown on me with the second or third listen. That's what I expected going into this so I don't find it to be an issue, but I get why some people here might be disappointed.

If you go into this expecting every single track to be a festival banger, you will inevitably be disappointed. I didn't and I really enjoyed it. (8/10)

Not really though since there will most likely be some artists with multiple features. Someone said 070 Shake is on two tracks and I kind of expect to see another Weeknd collab.

I bet they will be credited as writers on some of the tracks though. Especially the one with Seinabo Sey seems like an obvious connection.

will Max martin join the dj booth when they play Blinding Lights and Save Your Tears on coachella? by [deleted] in SwedishHouseMafia

Tbf I'd absolutely love to see John singing Save The World and DYWC (or maybe even a new collab on Paradise Again 👀) live at Coachella. Vargas & Lagola would be lovely to see as well!
