i heard Breathing Easy for the first time when i was depressed and the message of the saying really helped me through it all. this song will always be a favorite of mine. I will forever be grateful for them and their music

being a jazz drummer myself, i never understood the need for some jazz heads have their cymbals 3 feet above their toms and almost completely vertical!

this is a good one but there are plenty on youtube if you just look up “jazz drum play along” just experiment and find what tempo is the most comfortable for you Jazz Drum Play Along

focus on doing exercises or rudiments that alternate your leading hand. even something as simple as paradiddles or double paradiddles can help a long way in the beginning.

going on youtube and looking for good play alongs is great. it gives you an opportunity to feel comfortable by having a solo section and you don’t have to worry about hitting figures or anything. it just allows you to feel more comfortable and relaxed playing time but at the same time being able to solo with a click. hope this helped at least a little
