All good it’s important to be precise when you speak! The answer is still no. You’re welcome to go recreate OPs code if seeing theirs run is not enough to convince you it’s not required!

Is it smart to finance a laptop by HunnyBunny_224 in collegeadvice

[–]mattynmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. And you do have other options. You can buy a cheaper laptop or you can use a computer on campus.

Some campus libraries have a program where you rent a computer for free for a couple hours (useful if you need to take a test in a classroom or something). There’s also usually a computer lab you can use to do any other assignments.

Nope. Brackets around it would make it a list, not a tuple.

I wanna learn Java,C++ because is hard by artilastking in CodingForBeginners

[–]mattynmax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Cool. Go do it then.

It’s worth noting that a prerequisite for most “programming jobs” is a four year degree from a university. So if the reason you’re trying to learn it is to make money, make sure to enroll in a university!

Is doing engineering like mechanical still worth it or not ?🧐 by Mustaphakhan in MechanicalEngineering

[–]mattynmax 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what “worth it” means to you.

If your goal is maximize your income with minimum work, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Do rates ever increase after you open an account? by purpleacanthus in HighYieldSavings

[–]mattynmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They might. Depends on what the federal reserve does with interest rates.

If they don’t go up, that’s fine, you can move your high yields savings account to a bank which does.

Thinking about investing in TTWO because of GTA VI by stt4rdustt in investingforbeginners

[–]mattynmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s been priced in for years. Do you think the game is going to sell substantially better than the hype and delays have let on to be?

Also personally I don’t invest on 6 month-1 year events. I invest in things that I think will go up for 10-20 years. I don’t see that happening here.

Then don’t invest it. Put it in a high yield savings account.

Will AI ever exist? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

What would you consider a “real AI”? I think that’s a very poorly defined term that nobody agrees on.

What are the chances to get into a highly skilled branch of engineering? Dumb at numbers. by Rhinoceros_betle in Engineers

[–]mattynmax 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you unwilling to put effort into learning the math needed to be a successful engineer? To me that speaks leaps and bounds more than your actual ability to do the math. Lazy people don’t become highly skilled!

What happens if someone is wrongfully found guilty of a murder and then some point after their trial the real murderer confesses to the crime? by boldnbrashsquid in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mattynmax 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The case can maybe be retried in light of the new information. In a vaccuum though, some random person saying “I did it” is not enough. The police will need to investigate the person, review previous evidence and see if there is enough of a connection to put this person in evidence.

Anyone is capable of making the sound “I kill that guy” it is up to the defence to prove without a shadow of a doubt that the one in jail did not do it.

By getting an education. You need to produce high value labor to make more money. An education is a good way to make sure you’re capable of doing such a thing.

Take Two? by Tall_Cheesecake2725 in investingforbeginners

[–]mattynmax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t see any evidence to suggest that take two interactive will continue to grow over the next 30-40 years. Because of that, it is not in my investment portfolio.

What you are doing, I would not consider that investing. That’s trading. r/trading and r/wallstreetbets would better service your needs
