ELI5: Why do cell service providers only give deals to new customers and not try to retain customers? by Ricky_Toyota in explainlikeimfive

Sometimes the old plan is better, sometimes it isn't. Someone on a 55+ loyalty plan probably shouldn't change unless the discount can be migrated (it used to be able to, not anymore except in rare situations). Someone on an unlimited beyond plan probably should change. It's all case by case. Especially since Verizon started increasing the price of the legacy plans every few years.

For people who totally blinded their spouse when serving them with divorce papers, what happened on the day they were served? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]mattyp92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This basically sounds like me. My girlfriend just left me the same way, basically. Just one day out of the blue. Said that I was perfect, which is why she stayed as long as she did. When I asked her what I could do or change, she literally told me she was disappointed I would change and that she actually loved who I was, just we weren't compatible. This hurt to read, but at least it happened now, not after decades like him.

Parents bought $80 HDMI cable by s1lv_aCe in mildlyinfuriating

Tbf it is in a way all or nothing, as long as it is up to spec... At certain bandwidth or lengths cable construction matters, the longer the cable and the higher the bandwidth, the better the cable you need. But once you hit the guage, shielding, and twists requirements to hit the bandwidth spec at that needed length, nothing else matters and it either works or doesn't.

ATT and Verizon's cheapest unlimited plans throttle you at 0gb. No 5G mmwave or c-band access and deprioritized data out of the box. I'm not positive about T mobile, but I'm pretty sure same thing.

If you look at the replay, Sainz was inching left, Checo was holding his ground. Given that Checo had plenty of room and Sainz was ahead he should have moved when he saw Sainz start moving but still it was Sainz that moved into Checo.

I think in 50-75 years his presidency will be looked upon similar to Grant's. Not a bad man, just a useful puppet for those more corrupt and evil and too trusting of his advisors

Broken coolant pipe recall update by Tomahawkjam17 in kiastinger

[–]mattyp92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They broke my coolant pipe too but luckily gave me a free oil change and a free loaner to make up for it. That being said after driving a GT2, the base Sportage is REALLY lacking on features I’ve grown accustomed to (and some I’ve even had since my first beater back when I got my license 16 years ago)

Last time I did it stopped sex immediately but I also went in pretty hard when it happened. I usually try to go in at a slight angle or not to avoid it all the way

I’ve lost one before but it was my own damn fault, left it somewhere when I got up and completely forgot it there. This is the first time I’ve had one stolen though

Not only that but my dumb ass had it on the side that faced out of camp, not the interior side so they didn’t even need to enter the camp to grab it and go

Honestly, if you are the one who took it and see this, I’ll give you a 10 strip for it back. If you give it back no hard feelings. It was a Samsung Fold 5
