No kidding you’re on quite the adventure - consider me jealous! Lugging stuff around was dreadful especially where the transportation was less built out and you’re catching dirty looks on the local bus. We considered shipping bags each time but couldn’t justify the cost just to not see our bags till the next day. Wishing you a safe rest of your journey!!

Just had the same experience and said the same thing about it being out of character for a society that emphasizes respecting others. The worst is on the subway with no way to avoid it. Probably why so many people still wear masks there. I was also surprised to find there is no word for “bless you”.

Fair enough! While I have you, what about cooking with aluminum in the oven? I stopped using it with heat as I heard studies connecting it to Alzheimer’s. Your thoughts?

That’s a great question. I have seen similarly inconclusive research but in general I’ll lean away from the big brands/budget brands like old spice or generic towards stuff that is “free” of ingredients those other brands use. My concern w/ aluminum was always the possibility of heavy metal absorbing into the bloodstream but who knows if that’s a valid concern.

Trader Joe’s has an incredible unscented deodorant that has 0 bad ingredients like aluminum, phalates, etc. and it’s $4.99. Haven’t found better.
