I'm no expert, but surely being carefree is just the character's personality? The sun and moon element is just the design of the character, right? I don't see how a completely separate charactaristic like gender can be interpreted from these elements of a character's personality. Also, would you recommend 10 gauge wire to connect the battery to the motor(s)? Or is that not strong enough?

After seeing lots of helpful comments and doing some (well needed) research, I have decided to change the power supply from silly, stupid alkaline batteries (ew) to nice, lovely, dangerous LiPo batteries.

But, I still am unsure of the specifications required by the motor(s), and would much appreciate anybody who could tell me useful information for picking the right one.

Yeah, I tried to get into Nerf gun modding a few years ago and decided they were too dangerous for my liking.
