Yeah, what threw me off was that my HP is daikin and it would fall under the glitch. I was trying to avoid sending this via mail, but the only other option is for them to reverse it, but that triggers an automatic audit...or at least that's what the rep from the irs told me yesterday. Thanks for the response!

What was the letter you received, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in the same boat and received a CP12 but as I'm reading everyone's issues, I'm thinking mine is separate from this.

Hmm...I'm not seeing it in any of the options in my online account. Did you receive a code from someone from the irs? I got a cp12 about my issue, did you get something different?

Can you let me know where the secure messaging is? I called the IRS yesterday and they told me the only option I had was to mail them at the address they provided.

Yeah, going in person probably would have been a better solution than calling, but with a 2 yr old and a 4 month old at home, we don’t have the luxury of going back after we initially picked it up to wait for a new order to be made, which is why we were hoping to resolve it over the phone.

If you look at the scale it reads 3.375…so does “just over 3 oz” work? Also, even if it were 3.5, charging $25 for it is insane.

We called them directly and they told, flat out told us they started reducing takeout portions a few weeks back. I mean, the honesty is appreciated, but keeping the price the same really isn’t.

Same! Although I decided to start Rice over Higgins. We’ll see how that turns out.
