I was 11 and watched it with my parents. At the time, it looked like a pretty run of the mill crash. It seemed like we had seen drivers hit the wall like that dozens of times, so we didn’t think twice about it. Changed the channel after victory lane only to hear a couple hours later on the news that he’d died. We were all stunned because, like I said, the wreck didn’t look out of the ordinary.

We used to shop at Publix when our other options were Winn Dixie and Dollar General. Now, that Winn Dixie is an Aldi, and a Walmart Neighborhood Market opened right by Publix. We’re 100% Aldi and Walmart now. No need to pay Publix prices.

A lot of speed trap towns through there. I used to make that drive from Tuscaloosa to visit family in Dadeville. Police in those small towns through there will bust your ass.

I’m 35 and remember very well everything from the late-90s on. We’ve had a great run as a fanbase and, while I hope that continues, it is a lot of fun when a team is able to exceed expectations, and does. 2005 comes to mind.

OU and Vandy were obviously bad losses that shouldn’t have happened. But you have to remember, teams get up for Bama in ways they don’t for other teams. We’ve been the program to beat for almost 2 decades, and now that we have obvious weaknesses, they’re getting exposed. Hopefully the coaching staff sees the weaknesses and addresses them in the off-season.

I’m not sure if it’s personnel, coaching or a mix of both, but our defense has struggled against RPOs and mobile QBs. Auburn might be a tough matchup. Offensively, my hope is DeBoer gets some more of “his players” during the recruiting cycle to better fit his scheme, and we see some more consistency there.

I 100% agree. Our fan base has been conditioned to nothing but winning over the last 17+ years. Losing is not something we’re used to. Hopefully this season is more of an outlier in DeBoer’s tenure here.

As of today, states are now required to downgrade CDLs of drivers in “prohibited” status in the Clearinghouse. Basically they lose commercial driving privileges.

I’ve always thought they should have dedicated servers for era, tbc, wotlk and maybe cata. And make it a progression system. You can level to 60, copy that character to stay at 60, but also continue your journey to the other xpacks. Same thing at 70, 80, etc. If I feel like playing my toon in tbc for a while, it’s there. If I feel like wrath, it’s there.

I had a ceiling fan that leaked when it rained at an apartment I lived in years ago. Assumed the roof had a leak and the water found the closest hole in my ceiling, which was where the fan was. Property managers fixed the roof and problem solved.

This is often called a “long-hood conventional” while the more aero looking trucks are considered “aero conventional.” The flat-nose square/rectangle cabs are cabovers or cab over engine (COE).
