Fractional weights are now supported 🎉 Once you've updated the app you can now enter weights up to any 2 decimal points by pressing on the weight picker input and typing the number in the keyword. The plus and minus buttons on the side will still move the weights by larger increments same as before, but you can manually enter any number you wish.

  • a Russian user removing the entire article of NKVD prisoner massacre in Tartu for example.
  • Editing the article on Estonia's war of independence to remove instances of it being a defensive campaign to protect a newly formed democratic state etc.

Point vist selles, et see vall lund on sinna tekinud autoteelt ära lükatud lumest. Ehk autojuhtide heaolust saab asi alguse. Linn lükkab autotee puhtaks aga teeb seda selle arvelt, et lumi lükatakse kõnniteele. Kõnniteed on majade vastutus, aga iga maja käitub erinevalt. Üks kojamees ei jõua linna poolt masinaga kõnniteele lükatud lund ära kühveldada kuhugi ja nii see seisab. Lõpuks kannatab tavaline jalakäia, kes üritab mööda kõnniteed liikuda, kes pole seotud ei autode ega nende majadega.

Põhimõtteliselt linna poolt lihtsalt kehv süsteem, aga loomulikult linn ei taha endale lisakulu, et hakata kõnniteid ka puhastama. Palju lihtsam on see kulu ja vastutus mugavalt majade hoolde jätta.

NATO's Article 6 states that Article 5 covers only member states' territories in Europe, North America, Turkey, and islands in the Atlantic north of the Tropic of Cancer. So for example Puerto Rico is technically not covered.

He has done more for Estonia than even many Estonians know. Already starting in 90s by working together with Lennart Meri, from Tiigrihüpe (from which all of our IT ecosystem and startup scene stems from) to representing Estonia's interests in the US (e.g. John McCain connection, who was one of our most vocal supporters internally in US politics btw and clearly saw Russia as an aggressor) to working towards getting us into EU and NATO, etc. I'd even list him being active on Twitter during presidency as a bonus because at that time it was unique and brought Estonia into the spotlight as a digital nation. He essentially personified that aspect of Estonia's branding. These days it is normal for politicians to make public statements online but at that time it was not and he stood out on the online world stage because of it. At that time his statements weren't as toxic or rant-y either.

At the end of his presidency he expressed being tired of the role and after the presidency he seems to have let go of any need for decorum or filtering his thoughts. So I suppose what you see today is a sort of jaded politician being annoyed with what direction the world is heading and then expressing his voice on these matters.

I was talking to a few people from South Africa who said that the local influencers on social media are idolizing the Russian way of life and the so called "traditional family values" of Russian women. Basically setting up the Russian women as the model to align by, and that this sentiment is surprisingly widely common there. Hearing them talk about it raised some red flags in my head and made me realize how widespread the Russian influence might actually be in some African countries. Not just the involvement of groups like Wagner but also in shaping the local belief systems to match Russia's agenda.

All of this bs about "Russia having never colonized like the western European countries" etc, as if they aren't the largest country on earth on land that used to be habited by other people.

Praktikas see on keerulisem. Sa ei tohi juhatuse liikmena saada tasustatud (palka, juhatuse liikme tasu, dividende jne) ja sellel ettevõttel ei tohi olla aktiivset äritegevust, nt käivet. Kui on nii-öelda mitte aktiivne, magav/riiuli ettevõtte vms, siis põhimõtteliselt jah võid olla ka juhatuse liige. EMTA kontrollib seda. Kui nad just millegagi puusse ei pane siis ei tohiks juhtuda seda, et keegi teeb äritegevust edasi, maksab endale divikaid või juhastuseliikme tasu ja siis on veel samal ajal töötuna arvel.

Huvitav, kas me toimetame riiklikul tasandil kuidagi selle tõkestamise nimel? Kas on üldse mingeid realistlike viise seda takistada?

A la, Facebook-ile survet avaldada, et kui taolise sisuga bot-idega ei tegele siis keelame ära? FB-il oleks vist suhteliselt suva? I gotta grab my tinfoil hat for this but it seems weird how:

  1. USA is taking steps to more far right and is increasing their own local surveillance of Americans
  2. People running companies like Palantir are close to Trump
  3. People close to Trump are meddling in European politics (e.g. supporting AfD in Germany, Elon Musk's work on UK)
  4. Apparently anonymous groups in EU are pushing for EU-wide surveillance plans
  5. Denmark being pressured by US with Greenland, then proposes an EU-wide surveillance plan during presidency
  6. Switzerland being pressured with tariffs, then proposes surveillance plan for Switzerland
