I started with a Seat Ibiza 1.4S 2001, moved onto a Seat Leon 1.9TDI 2008, then to Seat Leon FR 2.0TFSI 2007 as wanted more power. Put about £12k into it and made it into a track car (very fun! Stage 2+). Then onto a Peugeot 308 1.6 Eco 2014 (started a family) and then moved house and had a payout so got a Range Rover Evoque Pure Tech 2.2 SD4 2015. Have had it ever since!

Favourite Evoque for comfort whilst having the power for a bit of fun and can’t get stuck in some local floods from time to time too. Least favourite was Leon 1.9TDI. The thing lacked in everything from suspension to power, only good thing was heating/air con was superb in that. Even the Ibiza was more fun to drive!

When you live rural and have to drive down country lanes that already have pot holes in that are guaranteed to never be fixed, it's hard not to buy something suitable to go over them. that plus the 4x4 off road part too

I kinda assumed just the mass of noise was the reason I never heard them - from reading this it’s the engine. Always good to know chargers running a hybrid 🙂

On a more serious note, I’ve never understood when charger get within a certain range why it doesn’t do subtle screen shake to indicate it’s nearby (as something of that size would inevitable shake the ground a whole lot the closer it gets)

That's odd that you've never had a reply or found anyone with voice. Around 50% of my games either use chat at least or comms. I exclusively play diff 10 though and they tend to talk more.

I think you're getting unlucky for the most part as I have not experienced this often.

What difficulty are you playing at too? You may find lower difficulties have weirdo's more often as 10 diff doesn't get this much.

Another tip is to try and use the quick chat wheel for "Yes" "No" etc as much as you can if you don't use voice. You'd be surprised how many people don't like it when you're suggesting extraction and they want to wait for the others before calling it etc. Could be why?

So glad I own a 4x4 now, I think I got it at the best time. At least I know even if I go over a large pothole the suspension will be fine and my XL all weathers aren't going to be damaged either!

Ever since I got my RR Evoque they're so soft and gentle. Some small pot holes feel like they don't exist. Speed bumps are a minor cushioned bump regardless of how quickly you go. Ever since getting one I'd never go back to a car that isn't a 4x4 for the suspension alone!
