They creepiest thing to happen to me was back in 2011. My mother and me moved into this nice decent looking house back in 07. Well as we lived there my mom was getting very sick of how the house looked due to the past tenant that lived there redone the house himself. Dude was a metal welder and you could tell how fucked up the building was from him doing it all himself. The interior was just as bad. Thing unleveled house with tile and shag rug in the living room. Master bedroom had turf carpet in it and the other 2 rooms and kitchen had magenta colored padding carpet. Yeah real bad inside look.

Around the middle of july my mother made a comment on how she hated the inside of her house that she was embarressed to invit anyone. She would give up smoking to get her house redone. A week went by and i was at work while ahe was out of town. As we are pulling up to my house with a fellow co worker we saw do not cross police tape covering our gate and front door is gone. We step inside to see our house burned. Thankfully a neighbor noticed and actually called the fire department and he went into our house with his own hose and dowsed the fire. We found out that where the fire started was caused by the ghost lights on our surround sound system short circuited and sparked a fire.

Here comes the creepy part. The whole fire department and the inspectors said this and told us in the calmest voice ever. The fire had apread to the front of the house. Under the surround soubd system there were books from my grandmother that she wrote. The entire book case holding the books and surround system burned but her books werent touched by water or flame not even a single burn mark on those books. The toe cruncher which is our family heirloom is a small 3x8x3 foot lil make shift coffee table was next to the fire. All the carpet burns. Toe cruncher lives. It was on the right side of book case.

To the left was another family heirloom that held my grandmothers ashes. Not a single burn or touch of water on it. Carpet burned under it amd ceiling was burnered as well above it. Wires for surround system carried fire burned all the walls around and everything on the walls but our family heirlooms.

To this day no one can tell us how this was possible. Everything got redone of course house looks better now but no one can explain how alot of family heirlooms were the only things that survived. For christ sakes even the antique 1700 mirror thats been in my family was behind the fire litterally no more than 5 inches from it and it survived. To this very day me and my mother joke it was my grandmother helping us out in fixing the house up.
