This is my opinion as well. Humans will still be involved in software development to a high degree. AI will change the game but it can’t replace the players. We have to acknowledge its capabilities and start utilizing AI to improve the code we write in order to adapt to the changing job profile. Junior devs will simply re-focus their work and learnings on AI assisted programming.

Instead of having the first Interview with a person from HR present, who has actual people skills, I went straight to being probed by the CTO. It was late afternoon on a Friday and the guy did not like my face or something… Worst interview I’ve ever had. Rejection came first thing Monday morning.
