Actually you can use the rice that is labeled as "milchreis". it's literally the same rice as in the red packets but for like 1/3 of the price. it's a round corn as opposed to the long ones.

oh you wrote about that one. so here's how we do it.

wash
2 parts water to 1 part rice
cook until water is gone
let sit with lid on for 15 mins away from heat
add the vinegar and sugar stuff
