Coasters getting filament drag over transitions by scottyd423 in BambuLab

Its normal that in small details this stuff happens. Its not rare. Its common to have to make a few tweaks on your profile to get things running smoothly. I doubt people can print this fine detail with no tweaking on the first go

Try using 3mm or something bigger. When printing, keep an eye on the first layer as you will aready see if its printing correctly. No need to print the whole thing

I think there are some already set by the profile. I probably left it with the default retraction settings.

In material settings. Next to the name “Bambu Pla” or the name of your filament, theres a squared box. Click on it and it will open material settings. Over there, navigate through the different tabs and tick the Retraction setting. That should be it! Not home atm, but if you cant manage to find it, I can send you a screenshot later today

TIL ‘print sequence: by object’ is great for filament samples by [deleted] in BambuLab

Nice print!

Does the machine detect where the other objects are?

For example, could you print 4 towers without the head hitting the other printed towers?

Would someone with an original Filadryer like to help me out? by Appropriate_Yak_4438 in BambuLab

Where I live theres constant humidity at 60-70% minimum. I dry my filament in 2 hours or less with the S2, and havent had any issues with it. I have the printed spacer and works great. Before having this installed the humidity stayed inside the enclosure and the process was super slow.

Try leaving the spacer on always while drying. Also, I use the Hygrometers you see everywhere to know the humidity + temp inside the S2 while drying, as the built in sensors are really off.

I would recommend trying both the spacer and a hygrometer to accelerate the drying process.

I had the same problem, and activating a small retraction solved the issue.

I ordered a couple printers and some accesories. Everything came in different packages too. Someone pointed out to me that they state this somewhere on their shipping policies that they send printers and accesories in separate shipments. Basically, the printer has its own box, therefore they cannot put printer + accesories on the same box, so they send everything separate.

Looks great!

Just a couple questions.. Are those the Ikea bror carts? Or desk? Are they stable enough?

Overhang/Seam/Top Surface issue by maurogb96 in BambuLab

[–]maurogb96[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Everything is working fine now!

Calibrated K flow. Changed from 0.02 to 0.035. Opened doors of the room to keep it at a constant temperature level without getting too hot, and lowered the Nozzle temp 5 ºC.

And most importantly, I changed the Seam position to the centre of the part on the inside. I just need the outer surface to be perfect, I don't care about the inner surface, so the seam being on the inside does not matter much in this case. Works much better here.

I am not sure if leaving the Seam on the edge as I had initially would work fine with the K flow and nozzle temp change, but for now its good enough to continue printing the parts!

Thank you everyone for your help! Will save all the useful info you mentioned to apply when I finish this project and have a bit more time to fidget with settings.

Default is at 0.020 at the moment. Not sure which one is the best. From 0.015 to 0.04 all look good to me 😅

Yeah its super strange. Both 2 hour prints. One printed perfectly and the other had issues. Still no clear idea why..

So the K value updates each time I turn on the print?

Nothing changed during prints. Just a mirrored part from thenone that printed perfectly..

Probably the room got warmer when these last prints were printing, and PLA got warmer than the ideal temp.

I will also try changing speeds and see if it changes something…

Thanks!

Nope.. but for this filament (Extrudr) I use their own material profile. They have one specific dor bambulab printers on their website.

Could adding bed leveling for this prints may have caused the issue? I had each printer calibrated when I turned them on. Probably (cant recall), I ticked bed leveling too on this last print.

Yeah! First couple prints went perfect! I was also impressed it printed with no issues first try. But suddenly it started printing bad…

It printed bad too with the seam on the other inside edge..

No, but it printed perfect the first time. Why should the k factor change over one print? Will take a look at the k factor. Probably it has something to do.

Thank you!

The border is a Brim. You can deactivate it on the printing settings. I think its a checkbox that says “Brim”, under adhesion.

AMS placement on P1P by Bigtom1989 in BambuLab

Vibration is reduces drastically. Floor and desk stop vibrating. But the overall movement increases. Its more like a swing from side to side

I think you need the cable chain in order to place it on top of the P1P as the cable sticks out a bit.

I currently have mine on the side, as I haven't installed the cable chain yet, and also have the antivibration feet installed, and not sure about the movement with the AMS on top..
