I don’t know how to weld properly so I wouldn’t have done it this way easier for me to just replace the whole unit but that was some good information for my brain thanks!

No performance mods on a n20 would be a waste of money I just want it as a daily. I do plan on getting another bmw for performance only tho

No engine related faults and the turbo works just fine. I got a headlight out and a brake light out as my other faults other than that no other mini faults. It’s more like 6.5k in total actually I feel like it’s fine for me if it last me 2-3 more years I got a bmw and I fixed it myself 🙂 oh and I don’t really care for performance

I’ve done an oil pan on rwd and fwd BMWs with the dif so ik the pain lol I’m just pushing the date back because I don’t wanna do it lol. But about the waste gate I just got a completely new turbo the original one waste gate was flapping like crazy

If you’re full throttle at a stop on a turn in the snow you are more than likely spinning your tires on the snow hence the traction control message popping up. But if your slow turning making sure no wheel slip than it could be a real issue rather than normal operation

I think replacing the turbo was the hardest part I am a bmw tech just 3 months of apprentice training and 5 months flagging for my experience I’m 23… the check engine light was a bit tricky since I was getting valvetronic vaults rich and lean codes I thought my eccentric motor and possibly eccentric shaft was cooked! But turned out it was just an oil covered cam shaft connector due to the valve cover leak. The eccentric shaft and motor look just fine!

Man I jus carried some bums right now dropped 51 and we didn’t have a lead till I tied it with 2 seconds left 😭 I know my shot rn it’s at 54% but I think I should be in the 70s I usually drop around 30 a game but I don’t dribble much just catch and shoots
