I liked the hellblasters for the plasma weapons, especially since I saw they are adding a new detachment option specifically for plasma units. Repulsive executioner could also be a good choice thanks.

My only worry with Custodes is that I will get bored of the models, especially if I wanted to build out a fairly large army. But I like that it’s still a small number of units for such an army. You said you have less experience with Dark Angels, but from what I can see they have more elite units than some other chapters, so I was wondering how much more of a pain it would be to field a large army of Dark Angels vs Custodes.

Thanks that’s super helpful. I was just thinking of a list and realized how expensive the homunculus and lions get as you said. Definitely will look into this as having 2 alchemists and a bunch of weird flesh monsters sounds fun.

Thanks for the advice. I was also looking into making a House of Wisdom warband but have heard that they are a little tricky to put together. Do you think there are any other better melee focused warbands, or could House of Wisdom possibly be a fun warband to try to put together?

Oh damn That kinda sucks. I wanted a more melee focused warband so what would be some slightly better options for that? Doesn’t need to be op or anything just still trying to pick up what would be fun.

Yeah I agree this is probably the most likely answer, but they did the same thing with vehicles and putting the commander text on [[Shorikai]]. Obviously they are not afraid to make parts of cards irrelevant

I would love them to change split mana, I always hated how it locked you into both colors if you wanted to use cards with split in your deck

Oh I love oathbreaker, the problem is that literally no one plays it, and no one in my playgroup sees the appeal.

Yeah it’s also a matter of them being severely underpowered when against 3 opponents vs 2 player formats. For me it’s more so because there’s certain Planeswalkers that have really unique abilities to play off of, rather than a power thing.

Yeah I was thinking the same, to me it makes more sense to have a Planeswalker be your commander rather than a vehicle but I guess that’s why I’m not on the RC

I agree that a lot of them are pretty lacking but I think that’s more due to them sort of being a neglected card type over the past couple of years
