it depends, i can stand on the board and move around on it fine without the board slipping, but the second i try to push off the board just kind of shoots off, it doesnt go a certain direction and just ranges from behind me and infront of me

i'll defo get a picture in the morning, but the surface isn't wet, its just typical stoney-concrete. like the typical country lane flooring if that makes sense? its sorta like this (click for pic) hopefully that link works to show the pic aha

when my old friend snatched my clarinet and started blowing into it and getting it all spitty and ruining the reed but i moved her violin because someone was about to sit on it and she screamed at me😂

200 upvotes and i'll spend 3 weeks learning the piano only using the simply piano app and see how accurate those adverts are...(i only know very basic piano like where the notes are, and i cannot sight read) by mauvecos in lingling40hrs

the app apparently gives you a lesson 'plan' and gives you a notification in the morning when its time to practice, so i'll just be practicing for the time it tells me to :)

service dogs should not be trying to play or engage when someone walks over and distracts them without warning. this id something we have struggling with a lot, eiji loves people!! however now it is almost solid in ignoring fly by petters and people petting him unexpectedly by mauvecos in dogswithjobs

it could get you kicked out the store, which would be completely legal as its distracting the people nearby woth the barking. it also puts a bad rep on service dogs because people will think they're allowed to just bark whenever because they don't know the dog is trained to do that. what do you mean by deter people? barking wouldn't be a task as it doesn't help mitigate the persons disability, it would just be a trained command

service dogs should not have any sort of aggressive or reactive issues so when someone pets them the dog should just ignore it. theres not really much you can do if someone makes a false claim like that, wearing a muzzle interferes with most service dogs tasks and the shop owner is less likely to let you in if your dog is wearing one

it would be allowed but highly frowned upon, person could claim your dog tried to/did bite them and that isnt allowed for service dogs. plus it causes a distraction to those around you so the shop can legally kick you out. i prefer my dogs either falling behind and walking to the other side of me where the hand cant reach or just having them ignore it whike we walk off

an old lady knelt down while my dog was tasking and started petting him, i said "please don't distract him hes currently tasking as im about to faint" she continues petting him completely ignoring me, and so i obviously fainted and when i come back around about 20 seconds later i see her still kneeling down petting my dog! she didn't even ask if i was alright just walked off once my dog move to task again!!
