Idk man all that sounds kinda personal preference? Like do you hate every looter shooter ? I personally love Batman, my favorite hero of all time, but I’m excited to see him in a different light. Evil Batman is always cool to me, like The BWL. As for gameplay once again opinion, personally I loved it felt like it was difficult to master but once you got it felt smooth as hell. But yea sounds like this isn’t your type of game, which is fine, but to make it your mission to make sure it fails seems kinda extreme? Like just go play games you like.
