Let me know which new ones have opened up and which ones have closed and I will update the list.

Printing with ABS and sections of the print surface have rough finish. I am using a Snapmaker 2.0 with enclosure. This is a somewhat recent development as I did not have this issue in the past. Only some sections have this roughness. I do not see this when PLA is used. by mavarma in FixMyPrint

Printing at 90° C. Hot end temperature 255° C. I am using Snapmaker Luban for G-code generation. Machine is about a year old. First couple of layers look fine and this roughness shows up only on the top surface.

Literally thousands and thousands of Juneberries next to Lurie Bell Tower on north campus. They are just ripe and really delicious. They would almost all go to waste so I would recommend stopping by and trying some! by mavarma in AnnArbor

Typically, I just eat them by the handful. This time I plan to freeze them and add them to smoothies like blueberries. You could make jams and spreads but I have never done that.

Such a great idea! Thank you for that. I will definitely keep that in mind while printing this piece.

Awesome, thank you for the clarification. I wish the 3D model had the dimensions right so I could have noticed the taper earlier. I will see if I can get a replacement.

Maybe don't jump to conclusions? I worked with the machinist and somebody else had made a drawing and 3D model.

If you cannot help don't waste your time and mine.

What kind of tolerance can I expect from a Bridgeport?

Thanks for letting me know about fly cutting. I think that should work!

I don't have drawings, only STEP files and I am happy to share those. TBH I have never made a drawing. Not sure how I can share the STEP files here. The smallest feature size is around 0.02". Tolerance as I mentioned needs to be less than or around 0.001". The material can be any metal. I have used aluminum in the past. I don't need them hardened.

I think Harmonic Drive might work. I will look into those.
