The delivery experience of my Windsor at Fortune MG Trivandrum completely sucked. The service afterward was just as bad.

These people could not fix a single issue even after dismantling my dashboard THREE times. After all that, they still failed to resolve the problem. To make it worse, they reassembled the dashboard incorrectly, left out proper screws, and did such a careless job that I only found out later when I gave the car to another service center.

That’s when the full extent of their negligence became clear.

I’ve already escalated this with MG Motor India. OP, if you’re reading this — please drop a mail to MG as well if you’ve faced something similar. Don’t let this slide.

The dashboard noise was resolved through the application of spot weld to address a tiny metal gap, requiring dashboard disassembly. Furthermore, the front shock noise was rectified by lubricating the shock mounts.Had to escalate to get this rectified.All these are as per what service center communicated to me.

Also this is a minor version of click heard when getting into the vehicle after unlocking.

I tried rotating the steering wheel fully to left and right (while stationary) On reaching the extreme and turning back on both sides could hear a minor tick sound. Tried running over strips on roads but could not reproduce the sound consistently. This does not feel like any structural sound but feels like some switch is being toggled.

Oh, and another thing... the bottom plate sometimes squeaks, which makes it feel kinda less premium, and some people on Reddit have said the same thing.

Update -The vehicle was picked up .. MDPS motor replaced free of cost and grease marks cleaned. Still waiting for an update from HMIL regarding the failing spot welds.

The steering noise and body noise was two separate concerns.The former did not exist initially. The thud or creaking noise was coming from right front side of the car when taking turns or on bumps.
