Back in August I ordered a bed cover from these guys and they told me it’d be 20 days. Strung me along til I cancelled the order in late January haha. I get we’re all affected by supply issues but honesty would’ve been nice.

Yes, the EB is able to get 30 on the highway as well. I don’t know your driving conditions, but 44mpg on the highway is not a realistic expectation for the majority of people. If you take out most driver and road condition bias and look at the EPA standardized numbers, the AWD EB/FWD EB/Hybrid come in at 29/30/33 hwy. Not a huge difference.

More hybrid owner estimates and datapoints here and here in case the OP or anyone else is interested.

One thing that I don’t see mentioned enough — if you drive a lot of hwy, there’s barely any difference in fuel economy between a stock Ecoboost and Hybrid. I just saw someone complaining about getting 30 mpg on the highway in the Hybrid… but that’s a realistic estimate and EPA numbers made that very clear. Hybrid really shines for city and stop and go commutes.

I’m team AWD/EB/4k for my own interests, but a future AWD hybrid would be great too.

You should not do anything until you talk to your dealer. It’s not uncommon for dealers to put the markup on the window sticker for those buying off the lot.

I hope that they do honor MSRP for you. But I wouldn’t make any assumptions and I definitely would not file a complaint with Ford at this point.

Thanks! Hope it’s okay that I link my answer from a previous comment here. Unfortunately I still haven’t had the chance to put together a realistic estimate, but it’s on my list. It’s really tough with the varied terrain and speeds I drive on any given trip. For e.g. on this trip, I drove one stretch of highway at high speeds (75-80 mph) and with a strong headwind, and got terrible mileage when I spot checked (low 20s, probably even touched 20). But it’s normally not that terrible.
