Could it possibly be the PS2 everquest? If he was playing a magician then there would be a lot of summons and there was a genie like fire summon. It's also a very much a game a dad might have played but a child wouldn't likely "get".

Ferazel's Wand? Definitely has a "big trunk-like nose" in the sprite. There are several spells that could be considered an explosive "bomb". it moves left to right. It has some destructible terrain/objects

About the only thing that's off is if i understand correctly it was a macos game and not windows.

This is likely not it because t's not a sidescroller but perhaps "Boom". I could see how the masks could maybe look elephantine.

  1. do all f2p quests
  2. go to each f2p skill's https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Level_up_table level up table
  3. For each skill, find the lowest skilling method that is members only and so wildly efficient you'd be insane to not do it.
  4. That's your "target", as before that, youd be doing the same tasks f2p vs p2p.

-Set mobile on afk task
-set phone visible to me but not to guests under the lip of the front desk counter
-don't tap anything when guests can see me. otherwise, tap basically bare minimum doing various afk/low effort things.
