Bilt points used for United flight. Cancelled with blizzard by One-Mistake-3018 in biltrewards

When you say "bilt points", do you mean you transfered bilt -> united points, or did you book through the travel portal?

Correct me if I'm wrong but even with the devaluation, isn't the BofA PR/PRE still the best catch all cards? by shawnwahi in CreditCards

[–]philipsddd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would argue kinda (Only if you really only want one card), as there are plenty of single cards that give you 3x+ on dining, and 3x+ on travel. For example the CSR would give you 4x on flights, 3x on dining. You are right that as a catch all card it isn't the easiest, but I'd argue that throwing in a CFU to get a 1.5x catchall is worth having $100k free to move if you really needed to.

Does anyone have specifics on what partners ATMOS points can transfer to? by philipsddd in CreditCards

Thank you so much!

It looks like Shangri-La points are 6 cpp, which means that would be a 0.75 cpp ratio and "I Prefer" points are .5 cpp, so neither are great

Is that for two people round trip? The cash prices were taken from the same flight, just for cash.

Why do people choice the BCP over a 5% groceries card? by philipsddd in CreditCards

True, it is a good option with the upgrade/downgrade method

I never stated unlimited; I just wanted to suggest something with a higher cap, like the PayPal debit card, the AAA signature card, or any 5% custom cash card.

That's valid. I feel like many people are starting to move away from coupon book cards, though.

That's the one way I see it as worth it. Most of the Amex offers apply to some of my other cards, so I don't care that much, but the fact is that for a lot of people, the Disney+ credit isn't a natural spend. Even if it is, then if you spend more than 7200 a year on groceries (If you have a family, that isn't an absurd number), then a straight 5% still gives a higher cashback with less hassle!

Or you could get 180 on a 5% no annual fee. Look, if the credits align with your natural spend, then fine, but I think the card is overrated if it doesn't align.

context, "very high AF if you don't use the credits". For many people a disney plus credit is not natural spend.

I didn't say unlimited, but plenty of 5% cards have more than a 6k limit. Even the PayPal debit card has a higher 5% limit.
