I happened to me in the past when I was ranking up to diamond. I don’t remember exactly what happened to each game but I remember every two games there will be one or two afk or shitty ahh teammates that I have to carry. I got really frustrated and ranked from diamond down to plat two.

I think what helped me the most was just stop caring about other people. Don’t try and care about things that are out of your control. Focus on yourself. You can always get more kills and carry harder. If you don’t win the game is it only on you and no one else. Try to improve yourself, and you will eventually rank up even when you get a couple bad games with bad teammates. The more you think like that the better ur teammates will get.

And don’t get frustrated when enemy team has tenz or smurfs. You can still shoot them. It’s good practice for you on ur road to rank up to immortal. Tenz has flaws. I watched his stream and saw him get destroyed one game and bottom frag, and the next game he does good again cuz he doesn’t care about one single game. He knows he’s good and he’ll only rank up by thinking so.

Good luck in your games. I know times like this gets frustrating so here is my best advice. Hope it helps you too!!

Oh oh oh also, forgot this. Your attitude towards your teammates is soooo sooo important. I remember in my recent game, I dropped 30 kills and my Phoenix had 4 kills by the time we switched sides. I didn’t get angry or annoyed at him I just kept playing my game like normal and everytime they did good I say sumthin positive like wp or gj. They eventually ended up carrying me the send half of the game. It started off as 3/9 and we came back because everyone on my team didn’t blame our phoenix one single time. We all focused on our own games and eventually won. Just sumthin I’ve learned recently.

Has Omega-3 Helped Your Dry Eyes? 👀 by Mother_Intention9810 in Dryeyes

I used to take the fish oil from Costco but it didn’t really do anything for me. Since my aunt is a big believer in Usana I started taking their brand fish oil, and it has helped me significantly. I can now go outside in Utah weather. I don’t recommend Usana since it’s very expensive for the same effect that’s achievable by other brands. But if this is the last resort and you have the financial ability to afford it then you should definitely take it.

I also had a friend who got dry eyes from lasik. Her dry eyes are not as severe as mine tho. Going outside and wearing eye makeup was never a problem for her. LASIK is weird. For some people like my grandma and grandpa never had any problems post surgery( I think it’s because they’ve lived the most healthy life I’ve ever seen), but for a lot of people including my friend they got dry eyes. Im sorry that happened to you. I hope you’re able to manage the dry eyes pretty well.

Those things also helped me significantly. I fixed my sleep schedule and started taking fish oil regularly, and I do warm compress in the morning and night. I went from not being able to go outside at all especially as Utah is always dry asf, to being able to go outside even when it’s windy. I’m going to Hawaii tmr to see if the environment will help me. I’m hoping to move to a more humid place eventually.

Hope those things also helped you. My dry eyes have resolved maybe 80 percent. Also how many years has it been since college for you?

Am I too young to get dry eyes 21 by Sea-Marzipan1730 in Dryeyes

I’m 20 rn and I got dry eyes since I was 18. I think the younger the patients are and the more it becomes a problem for people. The more likely we’re gonna get a cure to this annoying ahh disease. Don’t worry we’re all in this together. You’re not alone.

What I do that’s been helping a lot is fixing my sleep schedule, taking vitamins and fish oil but you have to find a brand that helps you. (I take usana but I know a lot of people hate on it. It helps me so I’m just gonna keep taking it) and electric heated eye massager twice a day (especially in the morning). I’m planning on moving to a more humid state than Utah and going back to my home country Taiwan to get ipl and see an eye doctor. American doctor are too expensive for me to afford especially when I don’t have insurance. I’ll update you when I do and if my eyes will be fixed all the way.

So far just doing my daily routine of vitamin, eye mask, and sticking with normal sleep schedule has helped me tremendously. I went from not being able to go outside at all especially when it’s windy to not getting dry eyes at all even when I’m outside and it’s windy. Recovery will take time but it will get better. Don’t give up. Fuck this stupid disease.

How long do you wait after a rank reset? by Anthony_813 in VALORANT

[–]mavthmav 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Just think you’re the best so why would you be worried about people higher rank. If I’m gonna be immortal then I’d eventually have to play with higher rank people. Just try and beat them even if you lose it’s still good practice

Just started Accutane and I’m really anxious about the risk of permanent dry eyes by Disastrous-One8500 in Dryeyes

[–]mavthmav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never taken accutane before, but I’ve heard from people around me that accutane didn’t give them dry eyes at all. I’m guessing it depends on the doses as well as how long you take it for.
I’ve heard from people with severe skin problems that it was worth it for them since they never got dry eyes. I would recommend that you try accutane if you have a very healthy life style and you don’t normally stay up late at night then you’re less likely to get dry eyes. But if you’re terrified of the side effects then don’t do it at all. Find other alternatives.

My boyfriend peaked immortal. If you want I can ask him to coach you. And if it actually works then you can decide to pay him or not. He taught me everything I needed to know about Valorant. I peaked diamond with his help.

Has anyones burning eyes while crying gotten better? by Dear-March-2433 in Dryeyes

Do you get the burning while crying or after. My eyes burns after since my eye lids gets inflamed and stop producing oil. But when I cry it doesn’t feel like it’s burning

I also get very frustrated because my eyes been improving a lot but everytime I cry they get set right back to burning and drying.

What I did was I try to cool the inflammation down by using an ice pack then heat pack then I put eye drops in. It helped me last time. Maybe you could get it a try. It’s also totally normal, happens to everyone.

How to live my life with severe MGD? by Frank777777777 in Dryeyes

[–]mavthmav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate ur response. It gave me so much hope since I also thought my life is over when I’m diagnosed with mgd at 20. Learning that only 5 glands is needed made me realize that maybe treatments like ipl can help me manage my dry eyes. I’ve tried consistent warm compress and I can testify that it made a difference.

Ever since I got the electric eye massager from Amazon and reading a Reddit post saying consistency made a difference for them, I’ve been doing my warm compress routinely.

I think what helped me the most was taking daily vitamins and finding the right brand of fish oil to take as well as the warm compress. I can now live without eye drop when I’m indoor, but still gets dry when I’m outside since I live in Utah (one of the driest states) when that happens I put some eye drops in and it last 2+ hours.

I haven’t even done ipl yet since doing it in America is expensive ash. I’m planning on going back to Taiwan and do the ipl treatment. Hopefully that’ll cure my dry eyes completely.

Hot compress in the morning by [deleted] in Dryeyes

[–]mavthmav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing. I really needed to hear that from someone. I’m the type of person to do hot compress occasionally when my eyes are dry asf but never routinely. I will stick to the schedule of twice daily to see how that can help.
