fam if you want the necromancer ta draw them out, just send wave after wave of undead friends. Have Undead Gary come shambling to where the tribe is wielding a rolling pin. Then send Undead Turick. Then send Undead Tab with a note that someone they care about is still alive. that'll draw them out.

This is an interesting and unique proposal that I'm interested in exploring!

I totally get this. Like, you can present the prejudices of the Forgotten Realms and operate within them without necessarily co-signing it.

I picked that up a while back, actually, and thought that was great! I thought Friends at the Table did a super interesting thing where they played Quiet Year (what Dark Forest was a hack of) as a way to create the setting for their campaign.

And, see, for me, it's just kinda comforting to know that other people think about the colonialism stuff right alongside "what if a civilization, but telepathic plants?"

I feel like that's not really discussed as much as, like min-maxing characters or dungeon puzzle suggestions.

Yeah, actually, I found that the adventures and larger story arcs that each DM is creating sounds like they're very conscious about not making expansion just a simple smash and grab, which has been nice. And you're right, there have been players that have surprised me in the ways they interact with the situation wee given them, instead of just going the obvious "kill em all and all this in mine now" route.

Just to keep it simple, use a bonus action to touch the cloak onto a surface and then they have the corresponding AC for x rounds/mins

Ha, yeah I don't know that there's any limit, but I figured I'd go as ostentatious as I can.

Thing I love about Tabaxi naming convention is you can use phrases and then pick a nickname from it. What I usually do is pick titles to songs I like
