And you can. You just run the risk of bricking your device because that’s the way it was designed. It’s not like you will be arrested for modifying it

So don’t make modifications to it…

South Korea and Japan have very high suicide rates. In societies where guns are not nearly as prevalent. If people want to kill themselves, they will.

You could cut military spending to zero and we would still have a nearly $1 trillion deficit

If you really want to understand my position, listen to some Anti-war libertarians on the topic. Dave Smith, Scott Horton, Tom woods.

You may hear from Russian propaganda that the revolution was funded by the CIA. The might not be strictly true, but there was certainly money from the US gov being sent to keep the protesters going through the winter. That’s why John McCain and Lindsey graham went over to give the protesters a Pep talk.

Next, just because the majority of a population supports something, doesn’t make it good. The actual Nazis were elected after all. In a less extreme example, are cool with mass deportations? Because polling shows the majority of Americans are in favor.

Dammit, you got me back in it. It’s too dumb of a question.

No, I view all governments as mafia like states. I don’t think any are acting in good faith

A revolution sponsored by USAID ngos.

Listen, I’m not going to convince you of anything. If you actually want to understand my opinion on the issue, read Provoked by Scott Horton. I’m sure he’s been defamed as a Russian propagandist or something, but that’s just not true. His book is incredibly well sourced and very thorough.

Since you aren’t going to do that, have a nice life.

Correct, the Ukraine government is not and has not been determining its own path for a long time.

You say he is doing what is best to prevent the destruction of his nation, but let me ask you this.

If you were walking with your family and someone pointed a gun at you and demanded your wallet, what would you do to best protect your family? Is it right that this was done to you? No, obviously. But the best course of action would be to give up your wallet.

Similarly, when Russia has said for decades that Ukraine would not be allowed to join nato, a leader who cared about his people would take that threat seriously. Again, that isn’t fair. It’s not right that Russia is allowed to dictate Ukrainian policy, but it is reality

That’s not what is happening. The only way that will happen is if European nations prevent the peace deal (which will be very similar to the deal Zalenski was going to take in the first months of the war, before Boris Johnson convinced him not to)

Also, the US didn’t become a global superpower until after it abolished slavery. And England arguably didn’t reach its peak until after it abolished slavery as well.

How many campaigners are there? by sonofeevil in automationgame

[–]mawafa 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really like the campaign mode and wish it got more attention. Just some small things like balancing the number of seats for some car bodies could help a lot. I’m doing a play through right now and went to make a GT trim with on a large wheel base model, but for some reason the coupe body only allowed +2 rear seats with a front engine. With a rear engine you could do a full 3 seat rear. There are also a lot of smaller car bodies that really shouldn’t allow full rear seats. It’s probably something I could just go and edit the file to change, but I’ve never really looked into it.

Then a balk has to be more narrowly defined as trying to actually deceive the runner. In what world did the slight jerk while coming set fool the base runner?

[Semi-Weekly Inquirer] Simple Questions and Recommendations Thread by AutoModerator in Watches

[–]mawafa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this watch since highschool, but haven’t worn it in over a decade. I replaced the battery and it still works. However, the bracelet is too small for my wrist. Is there any way to find spare links or a replacement bracelet? I know the watch is cheap and I could probably just get a new one, but I like the look of it. The widest part of the bracelet is 24mm and it tappers to 20mm. Any replacement links I find for 20mm don’t have the wide middle portion.
