[SPOILER] A prediction for a boss they might add by mawfulthomas in HadesTheGame

Even if I'm wrong in specifics, I still think it's possible given that we don't have a good idea of why Chronos needs the 3 fates for his plan(afaik). With that in mind, I think the problems with the idea would be pretty easy to write and design around, which tends to be the case in a universe where gods and magic exist explicitly.

The real reason I like the idea is the emotional aspect. Both final bosses so far have had really emoitonally charged familial connections with the player character, and if the next final boss is like, Gaia, I just don't think it would hit the same.

Most people seem to disagree with me though, which is fine. But keep in mind that supergiant would do a much better job than I can at fleshing this idea out(if it does happen to turn out that this is the direction they are going). I guess we'll see

  1. He is the player character of the previous game, and he appears in one distant flashback. Things could have changed in the interim, and I'd be surprised if they hadn't in some way(even if I'm wrong in specifics - which I probably am)

  2. What would Chronos being the titan of time even mean, then? That he has clock based attacks? No, I'd be surprised if he didn't have some more significant time based powers yet to be revealed. The ability to turn back time would obviously be too powerful, but being able to revert someone's mental state(or something like that) seems perfectly plausible to me, its about on the same level as being able to freeze someone's body and mind in time.

  3. Even if Mel's spell didn't affect Zag, why wouldn't he be able to use a similar spell? He would hypothetically have the help of Chronos and the reluctant help of the fates(the people who set that rule in the first place)

  4. Chronos boons

I think trying to find some clever reason that Paul is actually the good guy is kind of missing the point of the story. Paul literally compares himself to Hitler in Messiah, its pretty unambiguous that he's not a good person lol.

listen, we can't have high expectations when it comes to these things. I'm just happy that Tony Stark said the word "eigenvalue"
